Who again noticed that the number of successful Ph.D's were slashed from 170 in previous years to 74 for this year(2024). While the number of successful M.sc's remained same.
This massive cut in number allotted to Ph.D. candidates reduced the number per state to only 2 candidates.
What could have been the cause for this huge cut in number, which undeniably cut off many qualified persons from the list.

The country is going through a lot of financial difficulties, they factored in FOREX.🥺

It’s not easy, 🤔Nigeria is paying huge debts as a result of loans borrowed from other countries and also running the concurrent expenditures the country incurred on daily basis.

If you noticed, the attention for the MSc was shifted to GFM compared to UK because they are cheaper to finance compared to the uk.🧐

Funding is a major challenge this country facing at the moment and we should also factor in global inflation. It’s not easy ☹️

Lol. You need to Chill bro. I got the Scholarship as well. I know no one. Only prepared with previous knowledge and insight from successful guys in the past. This was my third attempt.

If you keep up with this mentality, you won't get it. And while you're complaining about it, PTDF is one of the easiest scholarships in terms of process.
