There are 2 options to solve inflation,

1, increase people's purchasing power
2, control price.

Since government cannot control price in a capitalist economy, they are left with first option.

All they have to do is give people living wage and balance free falling naira. Once naira becomes stable, the inflation will stop, and people with living wage can buy stuff.

It's that simple.

When you increase purchasing power without a corresponding increase in production/productivity, you get inflation.

How exactly do you advise the government to increase purchasing power?
By dishing out excess Naira notes which is the same thing as printing excess Naira and pushing it into the system.

The result?

Since production of goods and services remain at the same level as they initially were, you will have too much cash pursuing limited goods.

Prices will simply go up to achieve economic equilibrium, that is inflation for you.

Before you know it, a loaf of bread will now be selling at ₦2, 500.

There were days when ₦3, 000 could buy a brand new car in Nigeria.

Today, it can barely scratch a market purchase.

In those days, there were no ₦1000, ₦500, ₦200 even ₦100 notes.

If government follows the idea you're suggesting, in a few years we might be minting ₦10, 000 notes.

Zimbabwe has notes of one million and 100 trillion.
That's a useless economy ravaged by hyperinflation.

Please go read up on inflation.
Its not too hard a concept to grasp.

That milk is 1,300 in today's market
That quantity of sugar is around 500.

So I disagree with your claim

like I said, the current inflation is not caused by output but fall in the value of naira.

Once the naira stabilizes, the inflation will ho away.

Go and check the statistics of Nigeria's output in 2023 interms of export, it's biggest in the last 20 years.
That's why the economy is still growing at 1-3% despite the inflation.

Mostly debt.
Nigeria fx is being used to service debt because Nigerian crude that brings in most fx has been sold in advance and the money used to pay for either subsidy or defend naira or looted.

To stabilize naira, they need to make dangote refinery and every other refineries come online as soon as possible. Since petroleum products are the biggest drain on our fx.

There are three state-owned refineries in Nigeria gulping billions every year in the name of Turn around maintenance.
The same government that refuses to revamp and set them in production motion tells you that the hope lies in the functionality of a private refinery and you believe them?

Fall in currency is depreciation which ultimately leads to inflation.

Either you're ignorant of basic economics/fiscal policy or you're simply hiding your head in the sand.
