^^^^^^Would be glad if it can continue, it is a great way to help.  Infact i was thinking, Starting from next year, we could have an account dedicated solely to charity, where members (anybody interested in joining the group) could make monthly contributions, which would be used to assist people in need.
so would i,
On a side note, ifyalways  i like your profile pic so much, i did a pidgin version, Hope you dont mind  grin grin grin

Update. . .

We've got a carpenter to start work on the shop.We are getting them a :
Shelf/Counter
A big table
A smaller table with 2 steps
A bench
A flat board(for hanging of padlocks for sale)
Carpenter has been given part payment to get the materials so work starts tomorrow by 10am.Mr Obuh would be there full time while I and Olowotee wud pop in at different times to check on them.

Our initial plans(we and the Obuh's) was a 'provision store and small building materials' but having got the shop and studied the area(they were like 3 provision stores around already),the Obuhs suggested shifting to something else, which has low competition(in the area),high profit margin and turnover. . .raw foodstuffs ie amala flour, rice, beans, garri, ground nut etc, pure water(wholesale and retail),padlocks, exercise books, biscuits and co.

We hope to stock the shop on fridayand staurday.Carpenter, painting and washing takes morrow and thursday.Get a pastor to bless it(and the Obuhs) on sunday, declare it open on monday.

Jarus, Ifyalways, OAM4J and r231 - great job and well done.

Well done also to everybody that has contributed.

The idea of the shop for the family is great. But I'd like to suggest that Mrs. Obuh be in charge of the shop while we work on getting Mr. Obuh a job (even if it's a handy man kind of job). That way the family will not be restricted to only one source of income.
