It's been seven months since the Federal government agreed to implement 35 and 25 percent salary increment for staff in Federal Tertiary Institutions (FTI).

With the continuous increase in the prices of goods and other commodities, so many FTI staff are seriously finding it difficult to cope with the present economic condition.

Unfortunately, several organisations outside FTI have seen their salaries increased over these periods. Of recent is the peculiar allowance which was paid to those in health sector.

Does it mean that the education sector is not important?

I just hope that this information will get to the respective agency incharge through this medium.

They have not implemented it but implemented full hardship by their incompetences in carrying out national assignment
