I presently live in a 2 storey house that's a 104 years old. The decking is purely wood.
Why don't we result to building with woods and bricks.
Why are we wasting so much money on iron rods.
Can the bamboo carry the heavy weight load and sustain its durability for 30 years?
In building we have to be futuristic, aplly health and safety, and also make sure that used materials are tested and approved.
Be careful not to build cheap today and same building collapse in 30 years time killing you and your loved one's.

Wood TENSILE STRENGTH is very low and wooden structure has limited height compare to that of reinforced concrete reason why man can build Burj Khalifa and the ongoing Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia with a height of over 1,000m.

Lastly, wood can't prevent fire rather adding to it.
