Just this evening my grandma who is a retired primary school teacher got an alert on her phone and behold it was a credit alert from her bank with description " Abia state govt arrears payoff".
She was paid all that she has been owed in months.
Omo her joy knows no bounds.
The previous governments were very irregular in their payment of retirees pensions, some times they pay once in 3 months or once in like 4 months.
Today I truly believed that God has come to the rescue of Abians.
God bless Governor Alex Otti and his team.
God bless Abia state.
With the way Dr Alex Otti is working tirelessly, Abia will soon be restored to full greatness.

Most retirees died without receiving pension or gratuity, Abia past governors have a case in heaven

Politics aside, a good man will always be a good man. Abia, once the eye sore of the east have now become the dazzling jewel of the eastern province, all in the space of just one year.
Every state must learn from Abia, cos when a good man is on the throne, the people rejoice.

Paying arrears is now achievement in Abia state? If Alex otti is working in reality. Arrears is not something to celebrate
