Don't Steal Anambra Money, Soludo Tells Appointees by TonyRazor(m): 11:37am On Apr 08 |
Our correspondent Don't steal Anambra money, Soludo tells appointees The Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has tasked his aides and other political office holders on the need for judicious use of public funds. Soludo has since he took office as Anambra governor campaigned for patronage of Nigerian made products and cutting down on cost of governance. He also lives this, and has worn local fabrics and driven locally manufactured vehicles from Innoson Motors since then. Soludo who attended a thanksgiving service organized by the member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife, at St Paul’s Church, Umunze advised political office holders against stealing public funds. He welcomed Nnabuife who was formally in Young Progressives Party (YPP) into All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). “I urge public office holders to see their position as one entrusted onto them by God for the good of the people. “You must account to your constituents every penny that was entrusted to you on their behalf. It is not your money.” Nnabuife disclosed that her choice of joining APGA was because of Governor Soludo’s uncommon leadership style, which she said was instrumental to her mandate recovery. |
