If she takes her bath at least regularly, it could be some kind of infection or ailment that'd require you take her to the hospital. It may have nothing to do with not having regular bathe. Either ways when you notice it and you want to bring it up to her,, do it without making her feel less. The first assertion anyone would get if you ask if they'd taken their bath is they stink. Try being very sensitive with the issue. Other things like a change of toiletries, cream may also be the cause of the odour you perceive. 4 Likes |

Maybe you can just start a new habit of taking her along with you to bath together when you are preparing for work. 12 Likes |

Working remotely shouldn't be a reason to be unkempt, some remote workers I know dress up like they're going to an actual office to get into that "work mode"mental zone. Get her new toiletries especially Men's Deodorant, Spray and all then talk to her about it again as calmly and sweet as you can and try to make her shower anytime you want to... Hope you or someone has being assisting with some chores ? I can't imagine her working small ,go wash plate ,work small ,go wash toilet . You should help her do better. 6 Likes |

LVStone: Make her bath daily and early. How? Lovely make it a duty to make sure you guys bathe together every morning before you go out to work. Do same in the evening before going to bed. Also ask her if there is anyway you can help her in her work to reduce her workload. If it is not possible, you can some times find a way to stay around her while she works, gist with her, and occasionally take her out. All these can help increase her productivity, emotional balance and state of hygiene. 1 Like |

It can be hard to balance work and personal hygiene, but it's important for both physical and mental health. Have a heart-to-heart talk with your wife. You mentioned that she doesn't take well to correction, so try to approach the conversation in a gentle and loving way. Tell her that you're concerned about her health and wellbeing, and that you want to help her feel her best. You could say something like, "I've noticed that you haven't been bathing as often lately, and I'm worried about your health. Is there anything going on ...that's making it difficult for you to keep up with your hygiene routine? I care about you and want you to feel good about yourself and your health. Can we work together to find a solution that works for both of us?" The important thing is to approach the conversation with love, understanding, and a desire to work together. Don't approach it as a criticism or accusation. It's not about being right or wrong - it's about wanting your wife to be happy and healthy. If she feels like you're attacking her or making her feel guilty, it's likely to create conflict instead of a solution. Let her also avoid spicy foods Drinking plenty of water will also help to keep her body hydrated and reduce sweat production. One last thing I'd like to mention is that sometimes body odor can be a symptom of a medical condition. If your wife has tried the above suggestions and is still struggling with body odor, it might be worth seeing a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions. It's important to take body odor seriously and get to the root cause of the problem. All the best 1 Like |

LVStone:Bathing early has nothing to do with odour. In fact, in hospitals, adult patients are not required to have a bath everyday. Some only get baths twice a week. So, forget using her bathing culture against her. Since she works from home, she probably wouldn't need more than a shower a day -- does not really matter what time of day she takes it. Additionally, making sure to wear clean clothes is another way to combat BO of most kinds. Using the right laundry detergent, knowing to combat mildew when it shows up, etc. all necessary. . But more importantly, that crying leads me to believe that she may not be doing well emotionally, and emotional problems tend to lead to such issues. So, OP, can you describe --- not make excuses for -- your wife's emotional health? Is she happy (genuinely) or frustrated a lot of the times, maybe even anxious or does she seem to be more depressed and what not? Ofcourse, all of this assumes the smell is in fact from BO problems and maybe even mildew issues. |

"Babe... I love you so much, you know that right? Well, there's this thing I've noticed and I didn't know how to bring it up, because I didn't want to upset you... But it's imperative I do so because I don't want it to be a wedge between - I sincerely hope you don't take this the wrong way... There's this mild odour I've perceived around you. I don't know why and I can't explain the odour, but it's there and it's bad and so I'd like us to deal with it... Which is why I bought this product (any beauty care product out there), so you and I will give this a try later this night, okay?" The above is exactly what I would say to my wife if I was in your shoe ... This way, you're not accusing her or insulting her that she's smelling, you're only stating your observations... Secondly, you're providing a solution to the problem and not just leaving her to figure things out... I believe any reasonable woman would appreciate this gesture ... 2 Likes 1 Share |

LVStone: I think you have to let her know the truth about her hygiene and your observation The smell could come from her ampite or panties If she wears pants to sleep then drops of urine after night pee can be on the pants hence she should stop wearing pants to sleep and learn to use tissue after each we if the day If she doesn't take her bath at night before sleeping, then her sweat during the say for stored in her ampit and that's part of where the odours are coming out from Correct her in a polite manner and do so with high decorum Very soon she may start irritating you at home and the affection will drop Most people with body odour are not perceiving the odour they have and as such are not even aware Let her feel bad but you have to achieve success 1 Like |

First thing is u are assuming that not bathing in the morning is d cause of the odor... I seriously doubt that! especially something that just started all of a sudden and she baths everyday. I believe it's a medical condition and u guys need to visit a dermatologist/other doctors to get a solution ASAP LVStone: 1 Like |

Shower all you want, you still need to use deodorant. The hair too can be a source of odour |

If it's from her vagina, it may be an infection; maybe toilet. Take her to run a swab test and if anything is found, treat immediately. You guys are married and if you cannot tell yourselves the truth and save each other from public embarassment, the ya'll are not ready. 1 Like |

Op, pay more attention to her wears, most time the cloth women wear are not well rinsed off detergent thereby making it to smell bad after drying. Try check her clothing. Op, to add this, let her find a way to iron her clothes before use. 2 Likes |

This is not a marital issue but hygiene so any body can contribute and give helpful tips of proper hygiene to tackle the issue.. One thing that could alter your skins pH and cause body odour suddenly is the kind of soap and cream you' start using.. if you use highly acidic soap or cream it will cause body odour so if she changed her soap and cream recently, it may be the cause. She may have to go back to normal mositurisng soap and cream. If the above is not the case, and this only happens when she has not taken her bath, then she needs to add antiperspirants deodorant like roll-on to her body care routine. That way Even if she doesn't bathe in time, the antiperspirant will not allow her to sweat and therefore will remain fresh all day. Most importantly, let her get a very good bathing soap like dove mositurisng soap and avoid any soap with acids. Get sure or rexona roll-on they keep the armpit dry and fresh for days. The pink and cotton dry Blue Rexona smell very nice. . 1 Like
