It is expected because there is inflation in the country and the price of every goods has increased. The higher the price of goods and services the higher the VAT. Paraman: 3 Likes |

Fuel subsidy removed, fuel now expensive and yet there's still scarcity, Naira floated, now Naira is more volatile than Bitcoin, shady use of the reserve to back it after abusing Emefiele for same thing by agbados, inflation hitting the roof, nothing is improving in the power sector yet electricity subsidy was removed, insecurity persists, farmers can't farm, international business and investors leaving yet it's still Vulnerable Nigerians that they've used to increase IGR. How? This is slavery. Tinubu is just a task master, enriching his cronies at the expense of the fools that actually helped him become president. Chai. Nigerians are truly mentally unstable cos how? 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Is this an achievement? I guess dumb mofos and brigands think it is. Prices of everything increased, isn't it common sense that when the nominal value of an item has increased then the VAT which is a percentage of that will go up too? Smh |
Re: VAT Revenue Rose From ₦347bn To ₦549bn Under Tinubu – FAAC Report by Treadway: 8:01am On Apr 27 |
Daystar7:it is law of common sense. If vat is 10% and the item you used to buy costs 5000 to produce and has increased to 8000, the vat you pay on the finished goods at point of sale consequently goes from 500 to 800... simple sturvs 4 Likes |

haybhi1: Were you in Anambra when he was governor? If they subject you now to serious questioning on PO, you will have nothing to even say about him, it is all based on tribalism and ethnic hatred, if PO was a Yoruba you will not say this or if it was Osinbajo who has no recorded achievements, you will never say this. 1 Like |

VAT is expected to have doubled even as the price of commodity and services doubles or even triple. Can the current VAT earning be able to do the same the the previous VAT do? The value in real sense is much lower today than previous. So this is not a positive development. 3 Likes 1 Share |

haybhi1: Let me ask you one question. Did you verify what these people said or you just took it by face value? Oga see the wise thing you do is to not corroborate a statement that you yourself have not proven or experienced. It is clear you are biased against obi because of his ethnicity. If it was Osinbajo you will not say this despite the fact that he has no known achievements. 1 Like 1 Share |

haybhi1: Another lie from you that people are leaving Anambra for Lagos, yet Onitsha main market is the largest market in West Africa by volume followed by Accra main in Ghana. Now based on this let me challenge you shows me migratory data on the number of igbos leaving Anambra to Lagos for the past 20 years. Let us compare the Year on year rates to see if it is increasing or reducing. Again not you don't make statements on assumption because of nollywood movies of the 90s that is sheer stupidity. |
