ICT OFFICER VACANCY Position: Process and Communications Technology Officer Location: An Upstream Service Company with offices in Port Harcourt and V.I. Reporting Line: The Position reports to the ICT Manager Job Purpose: To ensure seamless operation of all technology (hardware and software) applications, network operations as well as information security in support of Organization business operations. Minimum Education and Experience: • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline • Relevant certification such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library/Cisco Certified Network Professional • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a similar organization Key Job Responsibilities: • Develop and drive the development of an effective ICT Strategy • Implements wired and wireless networks, provides technical support on LAN/WAN. • Creates IT policies and processes in line with overall business objectives • Ensures the availability of a robust IT platforms to support the business operations. • Allocates IT resources to support business objectives and improve business performance • Oversees the configuration, installation and maintenance of hardware and software • Ensures seamless IT services to the business and keeps up-to-date with information • Oversees the design and implementation of automated backups and disaster recovery strategy • Managing the Systems implementation for ERP • Oversees service level agreements and manages the relationships with ISP and other contractors to ensure continuous delivery of technical services • Develops and implements company-wide information security procedures and evaluates business risks associated with IT operations • Reviews performance of applications to ensure capacity to support changing business demands. Performs regular maintenance and security checks on network facilities • Reviews software documentation to ensure they are up to date, accurate and sufficiently descriptive. Carries out data backup management as well as systems monitoring tasks and maintains an inventory of all ICT devices • Conducts compatibility checks on customized business system application • Coordinates with ICT Manger in the design and implementation of effective training programs for IT users • Monitors and maintains the use of the organization’s photocopiers, printers, desktops, laptops, telephone devices, PABX and other IT related systems • Provides advice to staff on how to maximize the use of hardware and attends promptly to staff request/queries • Detects, documents, controls, resolve and reports abnormal conditions and incidents e.g system failures through the diagnosis of root causes in an effort to proactively eliminate and manage them 2. SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT VACANCY Position: Sales/Business Development Officer Location: An Upstream Service Company with offices in Port Harcourt and V.I Reporting Line: The Position reports to the Managing Director Job Purpose: Responsible for Sales, business development strategies to increase Company market share Minimum Education and Experience: • Degree in Engineering or related field. • Relevant Professional Qualification • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in bids packaging/Sales in the Production/Construction and Oil & Gas Industry with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity • Proficient on NipeX, Ariba and related systems Key Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for bids packaging and timely submission • Accountable for overall Customer Satisfaction level • Identify areas for business expansion and advise on strategies for increase in market share • Implement market research plans to identify new opportunities • Develop and maintain customer segmentation and build standardize business reporting strategic analysis • Lead Process improvement activities to streamline business practices and work processes to deliver improved performance in quality, and service results. • Ensure all regulations, policies, work rules, best practices and reporting requirements are followed and instill a culture that encompasses quality as a priority. • Develop effective relationships with Clients • Identify business opportunities and create business proposals • Accountable for meeting company Sales KPI targets • Maintain appropriate documentation of audit findings. • Drive a culture of process compliance Interested candidates to send a maximum of 3page CV to CareerswithF@gmail.com |
