Nice one. And there should be a customized 'asoebi' which must be worn by everyone residing in Lagos be you Igbo or Hausa most especially traders across the state. Failure to comply should attract stiff penalties. This will be a constant reminder that Lagos is Yoruba land. 94 Likes 9 Shares |

This is a laudable way to further promote the Yoruba cultural brand that's already a global brand beyond the boundaries of a multiethnic society like Nigeria. This week will further attract our kith and kin in Yoruba communities domiciled in the diaspora , Ghana, Togo, Benin, Caribbean, North and South American countries to invest in Nigeria. Good. Most SW states already declared last week in every September for Yoruba day. Even in 2023, same thing happened. Nice that Lagos is going to activate it officially this year. Ogun state should follow asap too. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2023/08/29/date-fixed-for-yoruba-national-day-celebration/?amp=1 74 Likes 4 Shares
