What is offence of John Mikel Obi? He came to camp with medical report from Chelsea FC yet Nigerians and blown envelopes journalists want him dead. Yesterday, they went to town screaming that Mikel caused Chelsea to lose their match on Sunday 20th. Mikel was not in the match when the winning goal was scored. Why this negativity? Must we kill John Mikel Obi? In fact, is Nigerian worth dying for? Where is Victor Oduah, Bright Omokaro, Sam Oyebode, and stars of the 70s, 80s? All have been used and dumped. All those trying destroy Mikel and our football stars for being unpatriotic should go and hug energized transformer. |

And he couldn't explain to AVB too? he had to take painkillers to play for Chelsea and not Nigeria? anyways i know the coach is there to do his job, we're watching sha. Yes, he had to take Painkillers for Chelsea cos dere medical team could handle him well; all d injury Essien incured were 4rm Ghana National team & dey hv abandoned him, Keshi is making d same mistake Siasia made: wen dey hv minor issues wt players, dey wudnt deal wt it internally but run to press, How many times hv U seen world class coaches lash out to dia players in front of d press except it's sth dat has really gone out of hand, To be forewarned is to be forearmed! |

Keshi is a proper Nigerian He knows what he is doing, right He knows there is cartel in evr aspect of life in Nigeria & he is simply playing safe Do u want him to start a fight he may not win, so soon Let him settle 1st If he takes the wrong step on Mikel some ppl will still attack him All our coaches cant be hot How many people have you heard fell out with Sir Fergusson He has a target, & goes 4 that. Mikel should not be his albatross |

I won't blame Keshi for his approach, he must have learnt one or two lessons. The NFF was busy drumming for Sia1 from the bush, and he was happily dancing their drumbeat, on reaching a cross-road, he was deserted and beheaded like Ikemuefuna in Things Fall Apart by the same people whose drumbeat he had trusted. |

NFF need to start recruiting all best players from schools (secondary, college, primary if possible - catch them while young). Even village ballers got skills too. NFF, find these players. See how long it took from 1994 (early 90s) to 2013 for us to mold another good team. Keshi, forget these "big boy" players, What we need is to recruit our youth for the future. |
