Nearly 50% of Stanford University freshmen get financial aid based on their need. Families with assets characteristic of that income level but earning less than $150,000 are exempt from paying tuition. Families with assets characteristic of that income level but earning less than $100,000 are exempt from paying tuition or room & board.

The Financial Aid Office is always ready to assist. At Stanford University the financing of educational costs is a partnership between students and their families.
