sod09:No AUBA is available for selection ooo except Kolasinac that is doubtful leaving SAKA with another shot at LFB position yet again. Pablo Mari should fit in straight for Luiz though but who knows, Rob could be used instead along side Papa |

Anybody following up.on Mkhitaryan? How is he faring in Italy? He's still an arsenal player u know? I don't know if he will fit in to this new arsenal under Arteta, but he doesn't I hope we sell him for good money so we can use the cash to bring in fresh legs |

I've noticed in recent times we've been going about our transfers with one habit; signing players that are not immediately available for selection into first team action. We signed Tierney with injury....We signed Saliba and loaned him back almost immediately.....Now we will be getting Cedric Soares who won't be available for selection until February 15 or a later date..... It is not pleasing to the heart when u know Ur team got a new player and he can't be deployed to help the team out almost immediately. I remember Wan-Bassaka; He played the first game of the season for manure, he wasn't nursing any injury prior to joining them, he was called upon and he played immediately. Abeg make the scout or whether na top management dey show seriousness in handling bringing new reliable talents to the club Jàre. I mean it's just like a company employing a visibly heavily pregnant accountant when it's obvious the woman will probably be on maternity leave when it's time for the company to prepare and submit it's financial statements/final accounts for the year . To what end? 2 Likes 1 Share |

BlueRayDick: Good money bawo? Who do think will splash money on Miki? Let me help you put this in perspective. Since he joined Roma at the start of the season, he has made 9 Serie A appearances (5 starts/4 substitutions) and 2 Europa League appearances (1 start/ 1 substitution), he has been out injured more than he has even more the squad. Baba, Miki na loss already. He is 31, earning huge amounts and is injury plagued, those are not positives, even for a squad player. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 11:06pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
Roland17: Chai! I guess we better pray the Chinese come our rescue and take him off our books....at least make dem epp us find small change make dem collect Miki na. Abi? Cos I don't think MLS will want to pay money to sign him and still pay high wages when he's not Rooney or Ibrahimovic |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 11:26pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
BlueRayDick:according to reports, Soares will be available after the winter break. So technically, if he's signed, he'll just miss only Burnley game. Not bad if you ask me. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by BlueRayDick: 5:50am On Jan 31, 2020 |
Jodera: Bros he will burnley and most probably miss newcastke too. He will be available for selection by 15th February and we play newcastle 16th.....I doubt he will be rushed back into action like that, at least we saw how long it took Tierney to get his first start after his injury recovery.....And there lies the problem. Cedric is supposed to be a stop-gap / cover for our injured/makeshift left backs and also to deputize for Bellerin in case of unforeseen circumstances, but he is injured himself. All I'm saying is : we should be going to the market buying either injured players or players that will be loaned out when we know we only got those players cos their position needed to be filled. I just don't want that nonesense that happened with Kim Kaalstrom's 6 months at arsenal happening ni |

BlueRayDick:yeah..I understand you perfectly. But his injury isn't serious, so highest Burnley and Newcastle games he'll miss. Moreover, both bellerin and Niles are both fit, so no rushing from his side. I feel even if he's fit, he wouldn't have started, even ahead of saka sef. And abeg no remember me of Kim kallstrom o...Wenger Bleep up for that deal. |

Jodera:He has been signed and is out for 3 weeks. So he misses out of Newcastle game too. Besides, except he plays on the Left full back position should Kolasinac not available, he can't just come and bench BELLERIN though |

Kbs468:Yeah, same thing I'm telling BlueRay...even if he's available, he can't bench bellerin now cos he isn't injured. And even as kola is injured I'm not sure even if Soares is fit, he'll still bench saka presently |

Unai Emery: 'Arsenal fans threw me out of club' Unai Emery has outlined "several problems" which cost him his Arsenal job after only 18 months. Emery was sacked as Arsenal manager at the end of November after the Gunners had gone seven games without a win. The 48-year-old Spaniard steered Arsenal to the final of the Europa League in his first season in charge. Arsenal also finished fifth in the Premier League, missing out on a top-four place by just one point. But he says he was undermined by off-field issues such as the Mesut Ozil-Sead Kolasinac car-jacking incident on a London street and Nicolas Pepe's struggle to adapt to English football following his club-record £72million transfer from Lille. "I am clear about my diagnosis and we did good things there," Emery said in an interview with Spanish publication Marca. "I think we had a good first year, leading two competitions well as Europa League and Premier League. "The process was good. When we played possession, we did it; when we had to press, we did it. And we were competitive, playing as the game required. "This second year, we have not played well, we have not defended well, we have not been competitive. I told the players myself. "There were several problems: four captains, the Ozil-Kolasinac case, Pepe's signing, who needs time since he came from France. "We didn't play well, that's for sure. We had bad results, there was no improvement, the fans focused on me and they threw me out. "With my departure, the hostile atmosphere was relaxed." Emery feels Arsenal have found the "perfect" manager in his successor Mikel Arteta, a former player who was Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City. But he warned that getting the best out of German playmaker Ozil – reportedly the club's highest wage earner who he had omitted regularly this season – remains an issue at the Emirates Stadium. "Mikel has a lot of experience as a footballer and has worked alongside Pep," who is top," Emery said. "It fits perfectly in the figure of Arsenal coach. He is playing a 4-2-3-1, like ours. "Ozil is still '10', and is slowly looking for his identity. He is a very good player, that is clear. "But physical conditions are high in the Premier League. "At times, Arsenal with him plays better. But other times it doesn't make so many differences." Emery has not ruled out returning to England in the future, saying: "Football is unpredictable. "A team may love you today, three months go by ... and it doesn't love you anymore. "To France, with the French I learned, I can return. To England, too. To Spain. "Germany is the only place where I find it difficult to work. In Italy, years ago, teams have loved me. "You never know, but this break is good for me."

Kbs468:he must be high on ebening. Whatever he faced was his fault from forcing play from back when he knows the defence was a big suspect to allowing opponents taking multiple shots at us by absorbing pressure. He also shut out the only DM we have to play one weak lanky boy that can't do anything or completely useless in anything called defence. Abeg make I no swear for this guy o as I they remember all he did . He's blaming the fans chai solo and khalifa Dan suffer, ebening is blaming them 2 Likes 1 Share |

I join my anointing with sod09 and kokanepyramid and say with full authority: THUNDER FIRE UNAI "ESUGBAYI" EMERY! Imagine Arteta that started coaching just yesterday , it took him just 4 weeks to diagnose defence is Arsenal’s problem which he worked towards fixing by getting two players in the defence role just to sort our problem. The Spanish Okey Emordi just dey cap rubbish. Shey Na fans dey act like sissy rotate captainship ? Abi Na captain fault say he dey always put his best combo on the bench only to introduce them after they start trailing by a goal or two ? |
