Being in the CL means we can still convince or deceive top players to come join us, not to mention the money we'll get for being in the competition and rubbing shoulders with other money bags in europe. Pipping Totteringham hot sauce to the last spot means we remain local champions in North London and retain our bragging rights.  That's our current level, if you don't like the celebrations go bungee jump off the Niger bridge. |

Fourth no be trophy, but no be failure. Times have changed - Chelsea signed Hazard, Oscar, Ba, Mata - certainly not for 3rd position, yet no one is complaining. Arsenal sold RvP, finished in the same position (securing european) and all this bros wanna make us feel failed. |

Kay-Dee:We've got inside sources The public will get the news today or tomorrow.I'm certain Arshavin must have offended AW towards the tail of end of his Arsenal career. I know at a stage his form dovetailed but in the few games I saw him play during the season, he gave a good account of himself at least enough to qualify ahead of Gervinho in some games. I am certain Arsene made up his mind long ago not to play him anymore. Like the Park story, we will definitely hear more about this. I didn't like the over celebration on the field on Sunday but I guess the boys were just as relieved as the fans. Even Walcott said he was really nervous all through the game. Those yabbing us can continue. Even when we win a cup/the EPL, they will still find something to say so there's no point arguing with them |

^^ You don start rumour peddling again? Abegi - Arshavin is, with due respect, a lazy player. he admitted this himself - he hates training and is a poor professional. Any player with self respect will go elsewhere to play instead of just warming the bench. As for 'over celebration' I don't know why people are terming it so. In this 'worst season ever' it is indeed an achievement to ignore all the negativity surrounding the club and maintain the focus required to win 8 of your last 10 games. Bitter folk will always find something to complain about - heck you'd have thought Arsenal had a chance to win the title against Newcastle but chose to celebrate coming 4th instead. |

debosky: ^^ You don start rumour peddling again?When the 'masses' pick up on the news, remember, you heard it first on proudlysports I agree Arshavin is a lazy player but a lazy player who did very well for us in his first two seasons and has had 'only' one bad season (we didn't see enough of him this past season but in the game against Reading and one other one, he played well). Anyways, didn't know Per was this 'strong'  |
