President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, 28th May 2024 commissioned the Southern Parkway in Abuja which has now been renamed the "Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way" by the Hon, Minister of the FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike.

The President commended Barrister Wike for providing exemplary leadership as the Minister. the FCT saying that his revolutionary changes made in the FCT both in structure and administration are yielding positive results and elevating the lives of many Nigerians.

Absolutely no downgrade there. It must be BAT’s choice to sit on that chair particularly for health purposes. I presume that he has some issues with his back bone and sitting on the sofa would aggravate the situation. Many people his age sit on upright chairs, both men and women. Those with back pain, who pretend at functions and sit on sofa, suffer pain when they get home.

By the way, the chair did not take away the fact of his position.

The chair the President is sitting on is more comfortable for an elderly person.

A sofa, like Mr Wike is sitting on, is deeper and closer to the floor. To get up from it puts a lot more stress on your back and joints.

I only wish Nigeria will have all the basic infrastructures we need and then understand that good governance goes beyond building infrastructures. I wish they can even build long-lasting infrastructures that serve the common man too.

Hunger, starvation and insecurity are the main problems we have now. These are all misplaced priorities ....
