This retaliation from the military is against who? The civilian or the the people they term terrorists. In many cases they vent their anger on innocent civilians who the terrorists are also intimidating. This is very bad and have to stop. If they must come to shoot at the civilians for living around that vicinity then the civilians have rights to defend themselves and not to be killed in cool blood.,the govt should arm them too to defend themselves 1 Like |

Good men being killed just like that . Please, soldiers fortify and stay ready. My pain would have been reduced if at least, one unknown gunman was neutralized |

Rinse and Repeat They kill military, military occupies and burns down village, they occupy the vicinity. The military should be wary of the mentality that will make Nigerians lose the fear of death Can they kill 40 million people, do they have the artillery for that since Nigerians have become their enemies 1 Like |

beerfraud: Rubbish army dominated by the Islamists Until justice is done in Nigeria, these cycles of attacks and senseless retaliations will continue, and at the end, everyone loses. People everywhere in the world have rights for secession and independence if they choose, as well as the right to honour their past heros. The islamic controlled Nigerian FG knows the right thing to do to ensure justice and fairness for all ethnicities, as well as have a roundtable discussion with the agitating groups, but ethnoreligious sentiments won't allow them. Go ahead and retaliate nah, tomorrow they'll still attack your biased men and the cycle continues. You'll keep being bogged down by cycles of retaliations while other countries are advancing technologically. Nonsense! The truth still remains that you can't enslave the Igbos with the AK47s Only dialogue, justice, equity and fairness can solve these perennial problems. 1 Like |
