Nigeria is how it is today because there is no culture of protest and resistance from its citizens, people don't stand up to the government when they make unpopular laws and practice glaring corruption the military really set Nigeria backwards by decades.
Now few people like Aisha and Sowore who try to take a stand against unpopular laws are being attacked by ignorant people and paid APC online miscreants.
Go to Kenya, their people protested only because their power authorities took electricity for an hour, here the will take it for a week and nothing will happen. The people of Sudan ousted their former president because he removed subsidy from bread thereby increasing the cost of bread here the will remove fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy etc and nothing will still happen. They will pay a few people 40k and they will come online to attack patriots like Aisha such a shame!

Stupid girl. She only embarrassed herself and ended up showing that the new national anthem is already being sung widely.

When we call them enemies of Nigeria this is one of the reasons.
It is the national anthem not a song about a politician or a party. Some people don't know where to draw the line. Her mind is just as ugly as her face.
She cut a pitiful, sad figure sitting there by herself like someone who came to collect a debt.
Perhaps, she thinks the Anthem was to praise politicians.

Some people just like fighting foolish issues.

The leadership has always determined what is the national anthem, the followership is meant to comply.

There was a public competition to determine the post independence national anthem that was adopted on 1st October 1960.

Just as there was also a public competition to determine the military national anthem in 1978.

The democratic leadership now has thought it best to return to the initial anthem, and this had support from the different political parties who constitute the National Assembly. This happened via a democratic and constitutional process.

So any mgbeke feeling funky and using that to protest privately, should keep their protest private.

People have the right to protest, not every democratic decision or process is germane. She didn't stop you from using the anthem

Which Nigeria are you all fighting for? Is it the same Nigeria that expired since 2014, this illegal entity where people are forced to live together and control by illegal immigrants describing themselves as born to rule, and their colonial/slave masters. I weep for my people for they are drowning in their own twisted and made belief idealogy. So sad!

Patriotism is what she's displaying. She knows what's best for Nigeria and only wants that and nothing else.
Between the old and the new national anthem, which one is more patriotic? You should answer this

Aisha I love your courage but you're beginning to do too much.its ok if you don't like the leaders (understandably so) but it's not ok not to love your country.patriotism is love for your country 1st before anything.standing up for the national anthem is not giving respect to any leader,it signifies honour for your country.ok let's look at it this way.lets say you have a child that always annoys or upsets you,do you kill the child because he does things that make you feel disappointed? No you love the child unconditionally because he's your own and that's how I want us to see Nigeria

We might see things that are disappointing but Nigeria is our own we have to fix it and love it regardless
