Me I'm not supporting anybody o. My own is that those IPOB/UGM that Simon Ekpa have been bragging since that they are well equipped and will wipe out the army should come out now that the army are around so that we will have THE BATTLE OF ABA. Let's just have it done with. They are free to come with all their arms and artillery.

So Nigeria is so much a failed state that the police can no longer investigate, arrest and prosecute high profile crimes anymore but tag it to a group? So if a person wants to rob a bank in east now they will put on Biafra color and police will run away and say they are UGM or in west dressed like Fulani they will run and say it’s herdsmen or in the north put on long beards like boko haram etc….this is sad that Nigeria is now a failed state under a man the enemies of Nigeria said he built Lagos

You left the main road and decided to navigate the bush,
1st a whole military men were killed and you want Police to be the one handling the case when we know fully well Military and police don't share synergy

These situation is not a case of mistaken identity or disguise ... it is crystal clear men of biafra carried out the gruelsome act and its over 72hrs they have not issued a disclaimer ..
all that dress like these dress like fulani analogy is immaterial, the president is just one man what are the over 200m population doing to make the country great.

You're far from the truth. Go and study your map reading. Delta is divided into two, north and south. Delta south is the Fulani infested area. They behave like the fulanis, fights and kills at random. But my Anioma state to come is peaceful. A peaceful city🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

The government actually put the horse before the cart by stationing security to maintain order and protect civilians on the said "Biafra day". But the aggressor (which was also being protected by the civilians) decided to murder peace by killing the horse (five men and their trucks burnt).

So sadly, now the military will not again consider putting the horse before that cart for fear of getting the horse killed again. For now, the cart should be in front, protecting the horse which is at the rear, from slugs. Once the threat is taken care of, the horse can resume its position in the front.

To mitigate the collective reprisal, the civilians can help to identify the culprits (which they know and live among them) and report them to the authorities, not necessarily to the army who may understandably sentimentally be unfair in metting out justice to the criminals.

if you are not sure better close your mouth, if you have someone in ABA, why not call the person to confirm before coming here to disgrace yourself,, The soldiers chased us out of the market with machine guns,, they should fight those that killed them, not innocent traders

The comments of most Yorubas here suggests they are in support of insecurity in the Southeast. Could this be a 21st century Pearl Harbour? I've noticed their level of jealousy against the recent progress of Abia State and it is not impossible they would use the guise of IPOB to create insecurity in peaceful Abia State. Government should beam their searchlight everywhere

Fulani are not identified by dressing.

They are fierce supremacists who rarely intermarry, so their features are more than enough to tell who they are.

Dress up a Fulani like an Ibo man and see if Ibos will be fooled.

There was once a time robbery and criminalities was the other of the day, in the southwest we had the likes of Shina Rambo, Oyenusi, Anini etc while from the southeast we had people like Derico Nwamama and other gangs. The southwest Criminals were all taken down by the police but same police couldn't get hold on the SE criminals. Bakasi boys was organized by the same SE leaders to help flush out the criminals and that worked effectively.

SE are never cheast beaters like you call them, the insurgency would end the moment they want it to end.

The Nigerian Army is a formidable source that specializes in reprisal attacks
...but when it comes to the North everything goes South.

The killers and terrorists have done theirs and fled, now it's market people and children that are bearing the brunt.

Maybe it time the innocent suffer well well so that next time they see something they will say something on time

when terrorist started in the north the communities harbored and cover dem up, until it grow and its now swallowing them,
Lets not fool ourselves UGM has the massive support of their community/people and since they have decided to harbor and cover up these criminals the acclaimed innocents can suffer so that next time they won't harbor criminals those communities know the UGM identities

Do you know why terrorism can't hatch or sùrvive in the West ... the people, won't just support or harbor criminals

I expect the usual noise and dumb talks about the military flexing power on innocent Nigerians.
You support Isreal killing innocent civilians claiming they harbor terrorists but have a probelm with Nigerian army when they are hunting for terrorists harbored by "biafrans".

You claim the military only flex muscles with civilians yet when the military come out in force, you wouldn't spot one terrorist. All they know how to do is to come out in numbers and ambush a check point they run and hide in the bush.

Many of you can sleep and wake up in your house because of the same military men you come online to bash. Yes, they have their excesses but without them, many of you will be in IDP camps!

You can't kill security personnel in such manner and not expect a strong response.

What I would appeal is the the Army should make significant use of intelligence gathering and ensure it is the actual perpetrators that are apprehended.

Also, security agents need to seriously stop the increasingly random oppression and humiliation of innocent civilians. Such acts makes people unsympathetic and uncooperative when there is need for collaboration and information.

which "strong response" is that? have they shown that "strong response" in katsina?
