D kind of inflation weh go happen if finally na 400k. Una no go fit carry am. Wetin go do private sector workers. Abi dia own goods go dey different.

Let it happen.

Few people have been stealing in the billions, you didnt go preach inflation to them.

The politicians bought new vehicles for themselves within this government.

They also increased their own salaries and that of judicial workers, so let others have something to live for.

The inflation the government used their policies to bring should not only be suffered by the masses.

I just don't understand why the FG must always fight labour over wages. How can Tinubu in his foolishness remove fuel subsidy, increase electricity tariff, rubbish dollar, increase custom duties but he does not want to pay increased wages ?

I mean what on God Earth is wrong with this man ? Abi because person support APC mean one should lose his or her sense of reasoning ?!

Good. Let olopa ko everybody. U go build prison tired. U dey threatened ur citizens with jail because they are demanding for their right. To increase subsidy, u don't stress urself. U just announced during speech on ur swearing in as a president. U increased price of everything without stress and masses trying to cope. National assembly, and VP got billions of naira to renovate and buy cars, without stress. Ur and ur VP spent 8.6billions within just few months for traveling, no stress. Now, to increase minimum wages, u now turned their representatives to errands boys and girls with different meetings upon meetings and offering them just 60k. What for? They broke down how they came up with the 615k, then u also should break down how u reached the 60k and let everyone hear.

I hope organised Labour will be serious this time and not suspend the strike abruptly until FG puts pen to paper a decent minimum wage for Nigerian workers

We hope so too because even the Labour leaders, somehow I don't trust them again

This government must be brought to its knees.

Tinubu should RESIGN because he doesn't have what it takes to govern and steer the ship of the Nigerian state in the right direction and his policies lacks human face.

It is this same labour people who are civil servants that frolic with corrupt politicians to keep Nigeria on its kneels. This agitation as much as it is the expression of the desire for a better living among Nigerian, Labour should be realistic with what it is asking as minimum wage and the attendant impact on inflation affecting general costs of living - rent, transportation, etc.

So labour should accept the 60k offer?

The price is bargaining tool bro. Both parties involved know that it's negotiable. FG are the one who is not serious. They aren't ready to increase the minimum wage beyond 60k.

Strike is a signal that all is not well. No matter what, strike is not the answer because it causes more harm; however, it is necessary when dealing with a demonic leader.

One thing I know about Tinubu is that he will rather find a way to appease the leaders and keep them at his corner....maybe not forceful like Abacha, but seriously speaking, workers won't get much from this. Those labor leaders are fighting for their own interests.

Businesses will be affected, money will be lost, appointments will be missed, and many inconvenient situations come along with strike.

If you smart, you should start thinking of how to make yourself free from depending on the Nigerian economy. You will start thinking of how to earn dollars instead of Naira. Earning Naira is disastrous. Honestly, I feel for civil servants. They are like helpless goats (you know how stubborn they are, but in the end... they are always helpless) being dragged to the slaughterhouse.

Civil Servants who cannot earn dollars can produce their food to save themselves from this hardship. Go and learn how to garden, and start producing vegetables, tubers, fruits, fish, poultry meat, and eggs. If you like, keep complaining. Take a bold move now. You can do it. Save yourself from the coming unbearable hunger. A word is enough for the wise.

The NLC will get massive support from the people, it's one year now, we can't just fold our arms and allow this man waste four years doing nothing

Make he act before it's too late oo

Did you read my post well. Only that I chose not to speak it all out like you because wisdom is careful with words.

Some of u will just talk as if someone can just farm on any land. How many of them get land that they can farm? Let be reason well in this country. Few people are embezzling our money, and leaving peanut for masses and yet, we don't see what is bad in it. Oga ooooo
Necessity is the mother of invention. Some of us aren't just talking, but we did it. If we can do it, you can. But if you choose to complain like many who complained when we started, you will meet the same end they met. You choose to see the impossibility in it, but it is still the way. If you think going on strike, fighting the government, and so can give you quality life, go ahead with it. But those who have learned that it is purely a waste of time because those labor leaders will compromise again are already looking for ways to start gardening.

Can you do anything about the leaders looting our funds? Can you? So, if you can, do something about it. But if you cannot, why are you talking hot? Lol. Those who couldn't take it, japa. They left Naija. That's taking a positive action. Others found a way of earning dollars in Nigeria. But you can't japa, you can't earn a dollar, yet you think depending on the labor leaders who have been compromising from ages is the best option for you... bless you.

And then, there is another option if you can not japa or earn dollars, you are out to toss it away like a piece of trash. Lol. Wetin be mine? Na you go suffer am. The very few who can think out of the box and do it will be saved.

At times, it is good to cool off and ask questions politely. Instead of you to ask the solutions those doing it are using, you chose to just trash it away. People like you will NEVER learn. Lol. And like I said.....goats are always helpless at the end cos no matter how stubborn they are, they always end up inside pots. Keep doing what you know how to do best, and that is showing no progress in your life.

Learn humility and learn how to ask for help politely. Many doors will be opened with humility. With this attitude you displayed here, you are set to injure yourself really big.

Goodluck!

Nobody is asking for 400k. The minimum is at least N75-100k. But government must cut down on their own foolish expenditures and not feel they are our fathers because we voted them in there. We didn't send them there to go and enjoy while we suffer. Enough is enough. We don't want wage awards, we want a signed bill and law. We don't want foodstuffs, we want a legitimate investment in agriculture to ensure food security. See how Dangote achieved refining of crude? What the hell in NNPC doing with stupid turnaround maintenance for donkey years without the ability to refine just one barrel of crude? This government is not serious at all. We want serious people running our country, whether APC or not. I don't care if BAT stole the election or not, just do your job, that's all.
