I want you to sit down carefully and understand that whatever is passed into law as minimum wage will last for 5 years I.e till 2029. Which means that the the minimum wage will have to withstand year on year inflation of more than 10% annually.

A new minimum wage will remain in force for 5 years while politicians will increase their yearly budget.


A Minimum wage wage will remain in force till 2029 while The President, his ministers and their aides increase their allowances through increased budget.

What i expect NLC to push for is for an annual increment on the national minimum wage. If they can get that, then a minimum wage for now should not be more than 80-90K
