National assembly members who got to their respective positions about year ago, who probably were taking a swipe at their predecessors prior to their assumption of offices, are the ones behaving like satans. Poacher turned game keeper. |

Bentacur007: See son of a fOooooooooOl, was their salaries affected in any way? Its ordinary Nigerians that suffered the consequences of the strike. One law from the National assembly and the labour leaders will end up in jail like Nnamdi Kanu. It takes a MORE REASONABLE national Assembly to understand that Nigerian workers deserve an increase in their salaries. |

[quote author=TimeManager post=130314849] Are they talking about your State Governors?, are you angry with your Governors?. They steal your future and throw crumbs at you. They budget billions for refreshments, your state lawmakers receive new SUVs from your Governors yet majority couldn't pay 30k minimum wage. All you do everyday is focus entirely on the federal. -Kiss the truth! [There's no truth in any one that support this demonic regime of tinubu...was it state governments that remove subsidy and increase electricity tariff.and plunge the economy into terrible state....and increase the suffering of masses...na tribalism dey blind una...FG control the entire economy of Nigeria due to our flawed constitution 1 Like |

The House of Representative members should be circumspect and careful with their utterances at this material time. Nigeria has an estimated population of people living below the poverty line as over 50 Million people. This people are bitter, angry and are apprehensive of the state of ostentatious lifestyle House of reps members . They are just 360 members in the lower house. And the poor outnumber them thoroughly. The RMAFC (Revenue Mobilisation and fisical commission) has employees who have families and know the exact total emoluments and benefits of the House Members. This also include the Notorious Allowances and Constituency projects running in Millions. |

TimeManager:But are you pleased with the country's state since APC took power? Are you okay with these lawmakers allocating huge sums of money to themselves while ordinary citizens live on peanuts? What is your basis for the statement up there? Is it a matter or ethnicity and religion for you? Or is it matter of party for you? These corrupt politicians cuts across all tribes, religions, and political party. Why do you defend them while your relatives and friends and even you might be suffering as a result of their corrupt practices? 2 Likes |

Bobloco: I like troubles like this, it is good for the system because truth is revealed in Crossfire's. I have been complaining about the corruption of the various labour unions exxo members from Local government , state to federal government. These guys are solid thieves, they have been milking fellow civil servants dry. Monthly deductions are compulsorily deducted at source of salaries to the accounts of labour unions. They squander theses deductions daily, they all have plots of lands, hotels, schools and houses. They live above their means. NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SHOULD HELP US TELL NLC TO REDUCE THE MONTHLY DEDUCTIONS THEY TAKE FROM ALL CIVIL SERVANTS, IT IS TOO MUCH, THINGS ARE HARD. SOME STAFF PAY MORE THAN N20,000. Monthly to labour union as check-ff dues. The unions are milking civil servants dry, they are living in luxury from monthly deductions from salaries of workers. Just go to their houses, especially the heads, chairmen, presidents of the various unions at lg, state and federal levels. They should stop making deductions from peoples salaries. Obasanjo kicked against this in his tenure. EVEN THIS MINIMUM WAGE, LABOUR WILL STILL DEDUCT MONTHLY FROM IT, TO THEIR ACCOUNTS AND SQUANDER. THEY ARE AS CORRUPT AS THE POLITICIANS, IF NOT MORE CORRUPT |
Re: House Of Reps Attacks Labour Leaders by phemray(m): 2:07pm On Jun 05 |
crossfire: So light is not important? But honestly how many people benefits from minimum wage? Remember state minimum wage is different, so we are just suffering cos of federal civil service who are mostly currupt. Your statement shows you don't care about others but your own salaries. They need to sanction the labour union since they have a political party already. |

Bobloco: None of these fellows have any inch of credibility. They can't deceive anyone. Can anyone of them give any if them children that purported amount of money called #30,000 on a monthly basis for their upkeep even as they live with them in the same house. They are now feeling concerned that it's an offence for the NLC to do a forceful shutdown of electricity but they have never told the DISCOs to stop the issue of estimated bills where they make people to pay for non existent electricity usage. They all need to be retired permanently from politics. 2 Likes |
