Jerobans: I was @ WAEC office today I was told the result print out is the statement of result and that the would only do result confirmation for me which they would address to OAU and Iam to do affidavit and pay the sum of 5K. I'm confused here o. Which one does OAU accept please My original certificate isn't ready yet. Someone in the house help me please!
Don't be a Santa claus in February...If you need the cert.,go to ur school...Dnt part wt even 5kobo @ the WAEC office.

jamb question, his explanation is clear enough. Go to the bank for your faculty and buy the card. No need for account numba.

For all those doubting the payment method, need i inform you that oauife does her registration using scratch card. It was only changed in 2011 when the acceptance fee was increased from 2k to 20k so that the then sug will not stop the sales of the scratch card. I think it is being re-introduced because the sug is no longer functional.

its simple. The scratch cards just looks like that of the post jamb. They are specific i.e the one for acceptance, school fees and hostel. I think they started selling 2day cos the postal opens for 2012/2013 tomorrow.

MATRICULATON INSTRUCTIONS TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS FOR THE 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR Candidates who made Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their
first and/or second choice and took
the Obafemi Awolowo University
Post UTME are advised to check
their names from the list of candidates admitted by the Joint
Admissions and Matriculation
Board (JAMB) on the Obafemi
Awolowo University Website
(www.oauife.edu.ng) or e-
portal.oauife.edu.ng and follow the procedures for registration as laid
out. Confirmation of admission on
the OAU website shall commence

OF FRESHMEN Candidates who have been offered
admission should present the
original and four (4) photocopies
each of their credentials including
Birth Certificate/Sworn
Declaration of Age. Each candidate will be required to submit
his/her admission notice as
downloaded. They will also be
required to present the print out of
the certificate form for further
screening. III. SCREENING OF FRESH
STUDENTS All fresh students are to report in
the University for the Screening
Exercise at their various Faculties.
They should come with their various
documents listed above as well as
admission status and the payment clearance of the charges from the
e-portal. Any fresh student who
fails to report for the screening
exercise within the specific period
i.e. March 4 to March 8, 2013 will
be deemed to have forfeited his/her admission offer. Flyer for
procedure on screening/
registration for fresh student will be
made available at the Admissions
Office and in all Faculties and
Halls of Residence. IV. PROCEDURE FOR
ACCESSING THE E-PORTAL:
1. Log on to the University e-portal
using your Registration Number
and the Password you used last on
the portal. 2. Complete the following forms
correctly on the Portal.
(i) CERTIFICATE FORM (for not
more than two sittings)
(ii) BIO-DATA
(iii) COURSE REGISTRATION FORM
(iv) BED SPACE CLEARANCE
FORM (Optional) The Course Registration Form will
only be available upon:
(a) Successful filling of forms (i)
and (ii) above. (b) Payment for appropriate fees
should be made with scrstch cards
obtained from any Ile-Ife branch
of the banks listed above. Please note that 2000 spaces only
are available for each of the
Special Electives except SER 001
and LIB 001, which are compulsory
for all Fresh Students. 3. Problems, if any, will be
addressed on-line using any of the

above. BED SPACE ALLOCATION:
Fresh undergraduates and final
year students will request for Bed
Space Allocation placement
directly on the e-portal and
payment of appropriate fees including accommodation.
Candidates will be required to print
3 copies of Bed Space Clearance
Forms from the e-portal which must
be duly signed by the student and
the Hall warden. Students are required to keep one
of the completed Bed Space
Allocation Forms, submit one to the
Dean, Student Affairs and the last
copy to Hall Warden to qualify him/
her to OCCUPY the bed space allocated. Please note that failure
to s.ubmit the Bed Space
Clearance Forms automatically
disqualifies the Bed Space
Allocation. Apart from fresh undergraduate
students, final year students are
also given priority for
accommodation. Other spaces
available (if any) will be balloted

...please peeps, activate your student-ship and register for your various courses, especially electives as soon as the E-portal's activated for 2012/2013 academic session tomorrow by noon!...in order to register for electives before they get filled (limited spaces available) and also to avoid E-congession later!!!

PS: registrations can only be done after payments...

pls what r electives and how do we know the courses we r to register for.
