OF FRESHMEN Candidates who have been offered
admission should present the
original and four (4) photocopies
each of their credentials including
Birth Certificate/Sworn
Declaration of Age. Each candidate will be required to submit
his/her admission notice as
downloaded. They will also be
required to present the print out of
the certificate form for further
screening. III. SCREENING OF FRESH
STUDENTS All fresh students are to report in
the University for the Screening
Exercise at their various Faculties.
They should come with their various
documents listed above as well as
admission status and the payment clearance of the charges from the
e-portal. Any fresh student who
fails to report for the screening
exercise within the specific period
i.e. March 4 to March 8, 2013 will
be deemed to have forfeited his/her admission offer. Flyer for
procedure on screening/
registration for fresh student will be
made available at the Admissions
Office and in all Faculties and
Halls of Residence. IV. PROCEDURE FOR
ACCESSING THE E-PORTAL:
1. Log on to the University e-portal
using your Registration Number
and the Password you used last on
the portal. 2. Complete the following forms
correctly on the Portal.

(iii) COURSE REGISTRATION FORM
(iv) BED SPACE CLEARANCE

Attention!!! I ave noticed from d posts that there is so much anxiety in d ouse but relax;
1. DO NOT PAY FOR ACCOMMODATION WHEN THE BEDSPACE HAS NOT BEEN SECURED (it starts on friday 4 freshmen) . Money paid isn't refunded by d skol and if it will be refunded, it takes a cumbersome process except giving d skol 3k doesn't count much 2 u. U only pay after e-portal might have allocated u a bedspace then u pay ur accommodation 2 redeem it. If u do it vice-versa u may end-up forfeiting ur cash 2 d skol only if u'r unlucky not 2 have been allocated a bedspace. Be warned b4 u come back 2 nairaland posting tales of how OAU chop ur money without giving u accommodation.
2. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT, REGISTRATION STARTS 2MARO BY 12NOON, MAKE SURE U REGISTER 4 SPECIAL ELECTIVES AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. UR CORE COURSES ARE REGISTERED AUTOMATICALLY but u ave 2 select d special electives urself. There are limited spaces 4 special electives and it is much easier executing SE in ur Part 1. Some nice electives are SEL 001, SED 001,SEA 001, SEH AND SO ON. Please once e-portal opens 2maro by noon, hit d portal and register those electives. Remember 2 create ur account on d portal by loggin in with ur utme reg numba and a password of ur choice 2 enable u do d above and so fone brower won't permit ur registration use a computer system internet explorer precisely.
