Politicians will NEVER sign off on that. The ONLY reason they got into Politics is to LOOT and LOOT and LOOT. Then when you think they are done, they'll LOOT some more. A state governor that has done NOTHING for his state in 3 years would appoint MORE THAN 200 special assistants. A senator that has NOT sponsored a bill in years would travel in a convoy of 6-7 cars. His entourage are wined and dined on public fund. Then he'll still get money for some hardship allowance. Politicians EVERYWHERE are vessels of corruption and conduits for the rot in every society. Sane societies just try to curb their excesses with strong institutions and a solid constitution. But Nigerians GLORIFY them. They defend them because of tribalism and ignorance. So they'll continue to get fleeced until kingdom come. 144 Likes 10 Shares |

m not being pessimistic but I doubt if this Country will ever make meaningful progress, the Government is not showing any readiness. They know what to do, cut all those Governors and Senators bogus salaries down to minimum wage, reduce the cost of governance, Presidency should also get down to minimum wage. Then the money will flow, abeg. E be like say we never ready. 78 Likes 5 Shares |

For once, Soludo is making sense but government must increase the minimum wage to at least 100k, a bag of rice is 75k already and rice harvesting season is still far away while our leaders squanders money on daily basis. 37 Likes 2 Shares |

They are enjoying the gullibility of the people ... It was sold to us as government by the people for the people ... But in reality it's government by the cabal and inner cacus for the elite at the expense of the people .... Using illiteracy, violence, misinformation, poverty, classism, nepotism, tribalism, badbeleism. As metrics to chose who qualifies to rise ... 30 million per month ... And you think these people care about the country ? ... Funny enough you will find many who earn 100k per month defending them simply because of tribal or religious similarities. But like the wind it's here one second and before you know it, it's gone. ... And this too shall pass! 12 Likes |

Soludo is better of as a policy maker and custodian of the economy. He knows the job. I may not like him as a politician but he's so lovely as an economist. Man is loaded! 14 Likes 1 Share |
