It appears this Finidi is a taciturn guy. Never really heard him speak to even understand his trajectory or philosophy. Perhaps he took this Eagles job too early. Should have jejely remained with Enyimba to carve a niche for himself or remained a dutiful assistant coach with the Eagles "until the time is ripe". It so sick seeing the NFF making terrible decisions at the helm of affairs and joking with the one thing that unites Nigeria at all times - Football.

This man, Antonio Conceicao has managed 15 teams and the only major team he is a head coach was Cameroon, which was his last job. He was sacked before Rigobert Song qualified Cameroon for the last World Cup.
Fair enough that he won the bronze medal in the 2022
AFCON hosted by Cameroun but look at it this:
Gernot Rohr gave us Bronze in 2019
Jose Peseiro gave us Silver in 2024
So instead of going for a manager who would win us gold the NFF are taking us back to Bronze.

I still wonder what criteria was used to appoint him as the coach in the first place. He was an assistant to the man they sacked, what made them think that he has something spectacular to offer which he did not offer as an assistant coach. All the time NFA goes back to their proverbial drawing board. Now they have ànother reason to return to their favourite drawing board to hunt for a new coach.
