The Appeal Court judge says, let the status quo be maintained. If status quo be maintained, then, the last judgement by the High Court was expunging of the self law made by the 27 recalcitrant lawmakers, which they are appealing. Hence, the status quo is, you cannot manufacture law against the Nigerian constitution, hence your self made law is null and void.
Truth be told, they are just wasting their money on frivolity and dashing their lawyers money. No judge will ever rule in their favour because that law is against what is written in the constitution of three years a single tenure for chairman and counselors. As the law is inconsistent with the constitution, hence, the constitution takes superiority over the state made law.
