Honourable, having a half term of even 2 years cannot stop the evils that is befalling Nigeria. Remember other countries like US, South Africa etc have 4 year double tenure systems.

The thing that will save Nigeria is to start to support credible people with proven track record of good performance, irrespective of his ethnic or religious backgrounds.

If we can get good people, they can change the country for the better in 1 year, ask Kenyan, Indian mew PM.
The only thing that will save Nigeria is restructuring, going back to regional government, there are 6 geopolitical zone in Nigeria now, turn these regions into regional government, give them 80% resources control over whatever resources they have, each region with a prime minister

Prof. Idea is not good at all. 30 years for any zone to have a shot!
The present arrangement is best, it just need a little restructuring to be added.

We'll pass this useless bill in 2030 so that president Tinubu can implement it by spending his lawful six years and leave for a correct person like Shettima in 2036. We use crazy to cure craze. We move.

There should make it a single tenure of 10 years. This will cut cost of governance greatly. Secondly, reforms can be sustainable under 10 years. Performing elections frequently in a third world economy like Nigeria is a total waste of resources. How can we vote out nonsense and bring in an even greater nonsense.

Very correct by the Professor.

However there is a bill that must be sponsored and passed. That bill is the one to prescribe the death penalty for looting of public funds. They will never do that. However if it can be done, Nigeria will be listed among the most developed countries on earth speedily.

This would be impossible under Buhari...
Those midgets that surrounded him always play ethnic card politics.
But Tinubu is different, he is truly a democrat
