Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president, met with Oluremi Tinubu, the first lady, on Monday. Busola Kukoyi, the First Lady’s media assistant, revealed Obasanjo’s meeting with Mrs. Tinubu via X. Kukoyi shared pictures of the two people and wrote: “On Monday, June 17, after receiving the former president who came to felicitate on the Sallah Celebration, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.” This occurs just 48 hours after Obasanjo was spotted wearing a headgear bearing President Bola Tinubu’s emblem. The previous president has attacked how the Tinubu administration handled the Niger Republic coup d’état and its ongoing reforms.
