The Federal government has been trying to proceed with this court case but Nnamdi kanu and his charge and bail lawyer Ejimokor have been using all kind of legalese and legal loopholes to appeal against the case proceeding. The latest barrier they brought is an appeal for a negotiated settlement which Justice Binta Nyako rejected.
The sooner kanu faces his trial squarely and stops dilly dallying around the better for everyone. The Federal government is ready to proceed with the case but Kanu and his lawyer keep on bringing up all kinds of legal appeals in other courts.
