It's obvious that the United Kingdom lack visionary leaders hence the unprecedented changes in leadership role in recent years.

They're changing prime ministers faster than a 4 months old baby can change diapers.
Congratulations to the newly elect.
I hope he stay long this time.
This shows a system where the people's will is reflected. Unlike a nation with over 200m people who lack the ability to think and where 1% force there will on the 99%.

The problem is Brexit and I might add, post-Brexit.

When the British voted to leave the EU, it was a major blow to it. As a member, it could export good and services duty free to member states. EU member countries too could export duty free to the UK.

The EU country also have single standards regarding goods and services from member states.

Why does this matter? For instance, in the 1980s, many foreign car manufacturers set up factories to produce both for the local market and export cars to EU countries.

Now the UK has left the EU. That means UK does not have such easy access to the EU market again. Car production has been falling after the vote for Brexit. This has been devastating.

Even British manufacturers are discouraged setting up companies or factories in the UK. Charles Branson, founder of Virgin group is one of them.

Inflation in the UK is high and one of the primary reason is because the UK is now placing import duty on goods from the EU.

The UK's economy was so intertwined with the EU and withdrawing from it has been the equivalent of unscrambling an an omollete.

How do you separate the pepper, onions and tomato from a fried egg? Even if you succeed, would the egg not smell of those ingredients? Would a child who hates pepper not still taste it?

The conservatives weren't ready for Brexit. They should have fought harder to remain in EU but were somewhat confident that the Brits would vote remain.

The Labour Party may take the UK back into the EU.

So had it been the king said no that he does not accept the elected man, that means he won't be sworn in

The King can actually refuse to accept the elected man as monarch but they will likely not do so because they are apolitical. We must not forget that Britain is a constitutional monarch, which means they are under the King or Queen's rule. Though it is ceremonial, they still have it written in their constitution and that is why it still remains a rite of passage. This is the ruler of Canada, UK and Australia. This is why Nigeria was not really independent until 1963. If we did not become a republic in 1963 and there was no coup in 66, we would have been like these countries. That is why Tafawa Balewa was PM.

The Monarch appoints a Prime Minister under the Royal Prerogative which forms part of common law. The Monarch does so by asking the new Prime Minister to form an administration, to which they usually respond “yes”

This is why it is sad to see Nigerian politician destroy our traditional seats because they have a role in people's history, culture and heritage. Don't let them deceive you with democracy and freedom. It is better to let people define the version of democracy that works for them.

As compared to Nigeria with the visionary agbodorian in chief aka the builder of Lagos, aka the tamer of the atlantic, at the helm of affairs who is currently sending the country to the depths of poverty? 🙄

The UK runs a system that works. if you are clueless, you are out. It don't matter if your tenure is just 7 weeks like the former pm Liz Truss.

And election conducted without sentiments or when it favours a leader. No politician is a saint in Nigeria, they do things to suit their interest otherwise why will Obi refused to conduct local govt elections during his reign and is that a democratic practice or why will INEC complain of server error during the presidential elections and no such thing during senatorial and house of Rep elections?

it is better to change serveral times till u get it right than to be stuck with nonentities.

The fact some countries don't change leadership as much doesn't mean they have better leaders some are stuck with nonentities. undecided

You don't know what you are talking about
Nothing to do with visionary leaders
It is just a measure of the level of social and political division in the country with so many different tendencies wanting different things

The country has gone through a lot in the last 8 years not least is the BREXIT referendum and COVID 19 and the continual clamour for an independent Scotland

It just shows a divided country with large blocs wanting different things
