So had it been the king said no that he does not accept the elected man, that means he won't be sworn in
His appointment is symbolic.
That is how the Kingdom runs it's own democracy.

It's obvious that the United Kingdom lack visionary leaders hence the unprecedented changes in leadership role in recent years.

They're changing prime ministers faster than a 4 months old baby can change diapers.
Congratulations to the newly elect.
I hope he stay long this time.

The politics here is not something you are accustomed to.
It’s one based on strong polices and principles.
It’s a politics that holds leaders to account for promises they make and what they do or don’t do.
They allow common sense and not intrigues laced with corruption as you’re accustomed to when a PM must leave office.

So the recent changes at No. 10 has been based on polices and principles not instability. The system here does not revolve around the PM as a person.
This is the only general election since last 5 years, the usual interval.

Of all the quotes I had on this comment, I will that we treat yours and settle the matter once and for all, that's if you're honest about it and not among the N30K paid warriors
On disruption of the elections, can you honestly say where it really happened most? Even on live tv, MC Oluomu was seen telling people to stay back if they're not voting APC? Or he was holding brief for IPOB?
2. Yes, the election process are well spelt out in both the CFN and the Electoral Act (all as Amended). Can you say it that it was followed?

3. Peter Obi claiming victory, can you tell why figures were mutilated, some juxtaposed in some States such as Plateau, Rivers, etc.

4. Can you tell why till today INEC do not know the Returning Officer for the 2023 Presidential election in Rivers State?

5. Why did the BVAS stopped/failed to upload the Presidential election result to the Server?

And truly, we will not get it right. At least not for now.

Nio POB terrorists that will disrupt elections process and prevent poeple from voting
No obirodent miscreants that will be propagating falsehood about the elections process
No serial party defector and Pandora fraudster that came third and would not concieve defeat and congratulate the winner.
I wonder when you will get sense and stop constitu. ting nuisance on social media

So he was appointed PM after he was elected as PM and the king added Lord of treasury to the appointment. Wonderful!!!

Nope. He was elected as an MP. But due to being the leader of the party with the most seats in the house, he would be appointed as the PM.

Your analysis should always be critical by considering all factors involved.
Same election produced 95% votes for a single party in the whole of 5 SE states which has never happened since 1999. Meaning no other parties in that zone. Yakubu announced the results of that area and it's ok by you.
Video of people being beating up for voting other parties other than LP was on social media. That is ok by you?
Mutilated results in SE were all over the Internet, but that's ok by you?
Videos of LP massive thumb printing before election were shown in Lagos ajao estate and eti osa and that was ok?
See, no one has monopoly of anything, you give, then you collect.

Wrong headline. The king can't appoint a prime minister
In a parliamentary system, the king in the case of the UK appoints the leader of the party with the majority in parliament to form a government so technically he appointed the PM.

Since David Cameroon no other UK prime minister exceeded two to three years in office

Theresa May
Boris Johnson
Liz Truss *few months in office*
Rishi Sunak

Right in our faces a new individual has been appoined.
Lets hope he performs beyond expectation and breaks the two to three years curse

As it should be, the moment they realize you you're not the man for the job, you're butted out, they have no time for trial and error, which will cost their citizens pains. Unlike here, where you will lack vision, focus, direction and foresight, yet you will be allowed to stay for 8 years and still impose your incompetent stuge when you leave office. Shame on us SMFH

Sir Keir Rodney Starmer KCB, KC born 2 September 1962) is a British politician and is the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and has served as Leader of the Labour Party since 2020. He has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Holborn and St Pancras since 2015, and previously served as Leader of the Opposition from 2020 to 2024 and as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013

Website
keirstarmer.com
Born in London and raised in Surrey, Starmer attended the selective state Reigate Grammar School which became a private school while he was a student. He was politically active from an early age and joined the Labour Party Young Socialists at the age of 16. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leeds in 1985 and gained a postgraduate Bachelor of Civil Law degree at St Edmund Hall at the University of Oxford in 1986. After being called to the bar, Starmer practised predominantly in criminal defence work, specialising in human rights. He served as a human rights adviser to the Northern Ireland Policing Board and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 2002, later citing his work on policing in Northern Ireland as being a key influence on his decision to pursue a political career. During his time as Director of Public Prosecutions, he dealt with a number of major cases including the Stephen Lawrence murder case. He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to law and criminal justice.

Starmer was elected to the House of Commons at the 2015 general election. As a backbencher, he supported the unsuccessful Britain Stronger in Europe campaign in the 2016 European Union membership referendum. He was appointed Shadow Minister for Immigration by Jeremy Corbyn but resigned from this role in June 2016 as part of the wider shadow cabinet resignations in protest of Corbyn's leadership. Accepting a new post under Corbyn that year as Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, Starmer advocated a proposed second referendum on Brexit. Following Corbyn's resignation after Labour's defeat at the 2019 general election, Starmer succeeded him as party leader by winning the 2020 leadership election on a left-wing platform.

As the Labour leader, Starmer has repositioned the party away from the left and toward the political centre. He has emphasised the importance of eliminating antisemitism within the party, a controversial issue during Corbyn's leadership. His supporters have praised him for his antisemitism reforms and for helping to improve Labour's credibility with the electorate in the aftermath of the previous leadership, while his critics have accused him of unfairly treating leftist Labour members.

In 2023, Starmer set out five missions for his government, targeting issues such as economic growth, health, clean energy, crime and education. On 5 July 2024, Starmer led Labour to a landslide victory in the 2024 general election, ending fourteen years of Conservative rule. This landslide victory was similar to the one achieved by Tony Blair at the 1997 general election, the last time a Labour opposition ousted a Conservative government. He succeeded Sunak as prime minister later that day.
Thanks for giving us his Resume. Very rich one!
