FG seems not to understand thr root causes of all this... Insecurity and high cost of transportation is the soul reason things are this expensive... Removing tax won't make any difference at ll. Most of the food we eat are locally produced.

Good. While advocacy for farming continues, the state governments can use an opportunity and window like this to import and promote sufficiency to bring down the inflation till they're ready to feed themselves.

Open ecowas border and allow free trade and watch how the economy will revive. Custom officers are one of the reasons food items such as rice is very expensive. Price of rice is the determining factor for other prices. When rice crash, others will follow.
