There's nothing cryptic about this direct jab thrown at Tinubu. During Buhari's tenure when things were going haywire, Yoruba Twitter also lashed out in similar manner, like Arewa Twitter is doing now.

There's nothing strange about it when some people show tribal sympathies for their people in power; it just doesn't have to be too loud or by everybody from that ethnic group.

If Peter Obi had won and we're witnessing a similar economic situation, there would have been Igbos who would say some people are sabotaging his govt, and so they'd re-vote him no matter how bad he performs. That's just the plain fact.

A bank branch manager was instructed to send 5 of his workers for training overseas, which he did. After some time, he decided to recall 2 of them, without informing his superiors

Why in the name of heaven did he recall the two?

Why?

SW APC defended Buhari more than northerners for 8yrs!

My point is that he didn't criticise Buhari government because of table manners and as such he shouldn't criticise Tinubu's government.
It's as simple as that, he should focus on other things.
My concern is not whether Yoruba supported previous APC government.

You cannot eat your cake and keep it.

South Westerners did not criticize Buhari for 8yrs but only started criticizing Buhari after Tinubu became the illegitimate president.

The Northerners are the singular reason why Tinubu is in Aso Rock so they have every right to criticise him

It will take more binoculars to see and know who is who in the nigerian political space. You will see hardened religious and tribal bigots trying to deceive the gullible by calling others what exactly they are.

Why didn't he make this statement during Buhari's time?
He has no moral right to criticise any government in power.
Exactly. If it was Buhari you will see this clown will be telling us how he is the best even though we know he destroyed the country

Nigerians know the real friends of the masses. Bashir is not one of them; neither is Tinubu nor El rufai.

Obi?
You mean that gbajue?
Despite all these disappointments, Tinubu is still a better leader.
lol APC is better party continue to enjoy your disappointment

I know that El-Rufai's son is uncouth and uncultured, but I totally agree with him on the last sentence.

You cannot impose a collosal failure on the people, no matter how tribalist or religious you get. Running Nigeria is bigger than Tinubu; dude has no innovative ideas. You cannot keep destroying this country and expect everyone to keep quiet.

Let's call a spade what it is. Nigeria needs a disciplined, frugal, energetic and innovative entrepreneur like Peter Obi to run it like a successful company.
He should shut up. Buhari was a colossal failure but his father and himself never spoke out. They should just keep quiet

Buhari completed he's 8 years. It's only the Obidients and other peace loving Nigerians that have the right to criticise Tinubu's government.
They should wait after 8 years.

Tinubu is a one time president. Mark this down

But he was still president, nothing can change that. You all miss the point. No one will remain president forever, even if he wins a second term, shey the 8 years will pass?

El-Rufai and his kids r opportunists , you’re seeing all this because his dad was sidelined

Quit being deceived by these guys

In 2027 they’ll field another candidate and you’ll be fooled into supporting them, thinking they’re on your side.

All of them should getat

In a firm decision, I've always refused to comment or expatiate on my signature when people ask me what it means; but I'd just say that you make of it whatever you feel it might mean.

Bashir El-rufai is naive.. a small boy in poilitics.

The cabals in Aso rock back then couldn't stop the kingmaker from becoming president, is it now that he has power of incumbency that one former Kaduna State Governor facing probe of money laundering from Kaduna State House of Assembly will stop his re-election?. All the games El-rufai is playing with some disgruntled elements up North have been leaked to the president. PBAT no be GEJ.

Christians and Southerners? Do you westerners really think you can use the toga of Christians and Southerners to galvanise vote for Tinubu after benefitting from a Muslim Muslim ticket? This is not a southern Presidency, Tinubu's government is a southwestern Presidency.

Throwing Elrufai under the bus in the hope of propping up one of his northern stooges as a potential successor will turn out to be the biggest blunder of Tinubu. Elrufai is a dependable ally but a very formidable opponent. He has the voice of a lot of Northern youth, more than you realize. Game on!

Story! You are just been sentimental with the analysis. El Rufai is now a "political weakling" that will only need another Political big wig he will beg to survive. He was formidable in the last dispensation because of his position as governor. He has been weaken from the grass roots by the probe and his successor has demystified him. Tinubu don't want to reduce his worth hence the lifeline otherwise he would have been Cooling his feets in a dungeon. The probe will keep him at bay, even if Tinubu fails next election it will not because el Rufai didn't support him
