JuanDeDios:Exactly! Worse, transporting live cows down to the Southern States likely means increased security clashes. 1 Like |

Excellent Nobody would have any excuse to be roaming around with cows again from North to South |

theysg:It is the same "American style" that is used in most asian countries and much of Europe. Yes, the very same that you think is impossible in Nigeria works in even South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, and many other places in Africa. But I knew it was not a solution that you were interested in at all. You just wish to assert your foolishness above all else.... Kwantinue! 1 Like |

christistruth01:Wrong! Shipping live Cattle down south means more of them would roam down south than up north in search of food. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: Okay sir, I accept my foolishness. Just know that, the new Ministry is here to stay, and moving of cow from North to South is also here to stay. And if you feel that isn't right and fair, then maybe you, your family and your entire community should stop eating cow meat. |

MasterTeeUSA:When will Southerners boycott meat and cattle supplied by these herders? Why are southerners not talking of cutting down on beat and goat and ram supplied by these herders completely abeg? Why are southerners not thinking of ways to protect their farms and communities, maybe by planting weeds poisonous to cattle as fences all around them? 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: The Problem is that desertification and Bandits have Chased them from their Traditional Grazing lands But it is a problem their leaders spent decades ignoring until it blew up in their faces |
Re: Cattle Movement By Rail To Resume Soon – NRC by Kobojunkie: 4:56pm On Jul 10 |
christistruth01:Is this some sort of justification for their invasion of other lands and their continued destruction of lives and livelihoods? The thousands of lives that have been lost till date — 4000 deaths recorded in the South West since 2015 from the many clashes between herdsmen and farmers — is more than enough reason why these herdsmen need to be chased back from populated areas. 1 Like |

Re: Cattle Movement By Rail To Resume Soon – NRC by Kobojunkie: 5:30pm On Jul 10 |
christistruth01:Exactly! It does not matter what the history of these people is or where they are coming from at this point in time. What matters is that lives and livelihoods have remained endangered as a result of their migration to populated areas. 1 Like |

hammer567: You're funny. Fidelis Okhiria is Yoruba abi? I think he means well. It's a way of discouraging grazing through the forests which we all know has been a deadly matter for farmers. |

This government is really putting effort to change things for better, but these greedy Nigerians, who themselves farmers and traders are hell-bent on making Nigeria ungovernable.God will punish all the economic saboteur who does not want hard working Nigerians to enjoy the fruits of their hard work. |

Re: Cattle Movement By Rail To Resume Soon – NRC by PHAYOL81: 9:28pm On Jul 10 |
Long overdue. Farm produce should mostly be moved across regions on rail. It's cheaper, more convenient and reduces pressure on road infrastructure. |

Re: Cattle Movement By Rail To Resume Soon – NRC by PHAYOL81: 10:28am On Jul 11 |
Ttipsy: Cattle rearing which is under ANIMAL HUSBANDRY is a sector of agriculture. The field used for the process is a farm. Anything that comes out of a farm, be it cattle, chicken, milk, egg, fish, duck, cassava, date, orange, whatever, are farm produce. OF course, I wasn't thinking of only cattle when I made the post as I had widened my suggestion to include all farm produce, which (lest I forget) also include processed items, for optimal efficiency and smoother supply chains. |

Ttipsy: Now I know I must've overrated your level of IQ with the audience I gave you. With the level of intelligence and literacy, I guess it's a waste of time engaging you further. and, lest I forget, I never expected you to understand normalcy if you're this deranged. It's always said that A MAD MAN THINKS OTHERS ARE ACTING INSANE BUT ONLY HIMSELF IS NORMAL. MODIFIED.... This's my last reply to you. |

Herdsmen on a train? Fear go catch fear? |
Re: Cattle Movement By Rail To Resume Soon – NRC by theysg: 4:19am On Jul 13 |
JoeEeL: Dear JoeEeL, Firstly, I was dumbfounded by the twist of perspective you inserted into this conversation, I initially thought you were just an extremely brainwashed fellow, but then this your comment also shows that you are not just only that, you were also poorly raised by whosoever raised you. Little did you know that Fulani Vs farmers clash is a century long cross communal clash that is fundamentally fueled by survival of both clan, no doubt, bad egg herdsmen has wrecked havoc on some places with their grazing activities, but it is far from it that they want your land and life. Fulanis are nomads, people who dislikes staying in one static position, they like to move around and graze. So the question is, what does a nomad need a land for when in fact all he wanted is access and freedom of movement? The issue here is that, you put emotions in your skull and place logical and critical reasoning in your anus, but I do not blame you, the reason is what initially stated earlier, improper upbringing. As for your prayer, I won't return that energy back to you, I have tutored you so I will leave you to experience the full hand of God. I am who God has blessed, whosoever bless me is blessed, whosoever curse me will receive that exact same dosage. Peace |
