Nigerian youths should wake up and help labour to achieve their goal. From the look of things this may be a long drawn battle for acceptable minimum wage considering that the governors are not even serious going by their body language |

Choiceone1: The politicians didn't start stealing money today. They have been stealing since independence. I don't envy them because I know their end - pit of hell. But the increase Labour is asking for will create more hardship for over 90% of Nigerians not employed by the government. This is the plain truth. |

250,000k inflation will rise to 60%. The plan should be to raise to 250,000 over 5 years. Increase to 65,000 immediately and gradually set yardstick. Government spending also too much . Government too big |

Bluntemperor: Is it NLC that would do all this one what is the Job of Government in the first place. Nigeria is a banana republic already you fight fire with fire if you can budget 13trillion naira for a road project and judiciary 300% increase in salary, with the legislative and executive arm of government taking bogus take home why can’t you pay the workers that run make the economy run. |

rickleye: This isn’t inflation what you don’t know is Naira has been devalued and that’s why price of everything rose across board. If it were inflation some certain things would still retain its price, 250k would not cost any inflation as at a point price of goods and money purchasing it will reach an equilibrium then we would all come to reality of the new price of things. 1 Like |
