Nigerian youths should wake up and help labour to achieve their goal. From the look of things this may be a long drawn battle for acceptable minimum wage considering that the governors are not even serious going by their body language

. Common stop saying this rubbish, wen the politicians are wasting money u didn't say this. They av all increase their fat salaries collecting millions of naira

The politicians didn't start stealing money today. They have been stealing since independence. I don't envy them because I know their end - pit of hell.

But the increase Labour is asking for will create more hardship for over 90% of Nigerians not employed by the government. This is the plain truth.

#250k is not realistic, if Federal Government could pay, what about State Government! Even obirodents messiah Alex Otti is still struggling to pay #18k as minimum wage.

250,000k inflation will rise to 60%.
The plan should be to raise to 250,000 over 5 years.
Increase to 65,000 immediately and gradually set yardstick. Government spending also too much . Government too big

This present crops of the NLC are just cruising with Nigerians, for they are just too naive of the Economics dynamics as far as inflation is concerned!
Assuming, they are running a business Organisation, would they pay this nonsense Salary Proposal from their Pockets every Month, throughout the Year, just to make the Workers believe they( NLC ) are trying for them!
The simple economic model is that, you don't use high wages,as Solutions for hyper Inflation but by more Productivity activity, you overcome inflation.
• What the NLC should get the govt commitments to expand the Economic Development in Sector-By -Sector Production and give a time-lag for realisations of the agreement 🤝.
•e g when is NEPA/ DISCOS going to be giving Nigerians 24/7 Constant Lights?
•When will the Refineries set to be Functional - for Nigerian Youths to be Employed and the Masses to have the feelings of enjoying the God giving Natural Resources of our Crude Oil?
Anyway, the NLC leaders are after their Dues ,as they can't fight for the Workers!

Is it NLC that would do all this one what is the Job of Government in the first place.
Nigeria is a banana republic already you fight fire with fire if you can budget 13trillion naira for a road project and judiciary 300% increase in salary, with the legislative and executive arm of government taking bogus take home why can’t you pay the workers that run make the economy run.

This isn’t inflation what you don’t know is Naira has been devalued and that’s why price of everything rose across board. If it were inflation some certain things would still retain its price, 250k would not cost any inflation as at a point price of goods and money purchasing it will reach an equilibrium then we would all come to reality of the new price of things.

Shut your mouth!!!

I used to support the government side on this minimum wage ISH, but I am fully with labor now...Ur bosses can't be enjoying luxurious life with billions of naira, yatchs, mansions & SUVs... while choking the masses with inflation, then say they most sacrifice to save the economy.

ITS EITHER EVERYBODY including the political elites learn austerity measures or let INFLATION scatter everything

Whose money are banking CEO's using to have luxury lifestyles?
