You must be a bad student of History. Tinubu never decamp to any Party.

He was a member of SDP in the aborted 3rd Republic.

He became Gov under AD in 1999. He later left the Party to form his own Party AC. Later, AC became ACN. Then in 2013 ACN had a merger with CPC, faction of APGA, ANPP, New PDP to form the current APC.

So Tinubu never jumped to join or be received into any Party.
