As a footnote, I must add that the fraternities listed above as being associated with Nigeria's legendary Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka were never and will never be violent in words or deeds

The non-violent philosophy of all academic or professional societies that were created or recognized by Wole Soyinka easily distinguishes them from the armed gangs that hijacked the names used by legitimate fraternities and in so doing perpetrated a great disservice to the Nobel Laureate and society at large. The unsubstantiated allegations made against Wole Soyinka are not worth the paper they are scrawled on by deluded fantasists, and need not be dignified by a response most of the time.
