I still use St Louis cubed sugar.... since I was born... as long as its still in the market , I will not stop

I remember pronto...powder chocolate that exhumed dust like particles... never knew they had other flavours

One memory i have of the St Louis sugar is how rock hard it used to be!

Pic 1: that's the original image of the old carnation evaporated milk, the milk that peak could not compete with.
Pic 2: elephant detergent that tried to chase omo detergent out of the market grin
Pic 3: my love for the salty taste of planta margarine no bi small, I really missed planta, my first choice of item at Kingsway store in broad Street Lagos Island.
Pic 4: Kenwood amplifier, in those days if this is missing in your parlour then you need to work harder. I love that light indicator from the meter and bass sound.
So many of this made you to forget your worries in those days, you hardly hear that someone dies of heart attack or high blood pressure. It's well with naija

And for the ladies especially my dear momma and sisters back then, Saturday night powder is a must-have hand bag acessory. I still remember with nostalgic feeling when the blue band margarine is one of the most relished item on the breakfast table. Those good old days wherein our parents provide us some bits of luxury without sweat or pain.

There are certain things, which you need not think about anymore in this country so that you won't go crazy! Why did they allow all of this to crumble on their watch in the first place? I always pity the present generation. Hummmn nlfpmod

hmmm...where you for see this powder?

I used carnation milk to take custard last month and it brought back nostalgic memories. Very creamy and sweet milk.

My Dad still has this Kenwood machine. He has archived it in the village together with its loudspeakers.

I never liked Cabin biscuit for anything.
Parents had this habit of bringing them on visits to their children in the dormitories.
I remember being with one of my friends when his parents came around to visit; they pulled out a pack of Cabin biscuits with excitement, gave some to my friend and offered me some with their hands outstretched.
I just kept looking at them with no flash of excitement.
I just didn't like that biscuit.
I believe they remarked me as odd but I was just too real with my feelings as a child.

Memories by Maroon 5
Here's to the ones that we got
Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
Of everything we've been through
Toast to the ones here today
Toast to the ones that we lost on the way
'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you

Old photographs and places I remember
Just like a dying ember
That's burned into my soul
Even though we walk the diamond-studded highways
It's the country lanes and byways
That makes us long for home

So lovely a period one can't forget easily before IBB took over and introduced bribery and curruption as just being smart. Today is the results of the smartness. No love anymore, completion to be rich everywhere,it's who get what first. Forget today, we knew nigeria will get to this level of nonsense ego and properties being acquired with proceeds of fraud without shame., I remembered when our bus driver give 50kobo paper to a police officer that stopped us at going to iwo in the 80s, just to appreciate him working in the sun. The guy parked us and asked everyone to come down for attempted bribery, see begging. Infact, am sorry today Nigeria is gone. Imagine little kids of today insulting their father age mates on social media with no shame. When we do read newspapers after 2 or 3 days of publication then in my village.

No more quality milk in this useless country called Nigeria. I remember this carnation milk in the 80s. Not the watery Peak milk and the rest that we have now. You can still find carnations milk in the UK.

I also remember a tea called Bongo. You can feel the aroma from 200km away. Not these less quality Lipton and top tea.

Those European countries producing quality items left Nigeria long ago and never looked back.
Dunlop left.
Micheline tyes left and many more
Unilever is shaking body already

It shall never be well with corrupt politicians and the military that brought this mess upon this nation.

Nigeria is cursed

Oyel full your head. That Bongo tea no get rival. That is what is called sweet aroma.
