These are reasons why no reasonable and Igbo thinking Igbo man should be involved in the planned protest:

1. You have already been marked as number one opposition to APC.
Once this protest starts, you will be used as the scapegoat by the government to teach others lessons, while others will stylishly rescind and even join in bashing you.
It has happened before. Stay off the useless protest.

2. You stand to gain nothing from the protest. If Tinubu resigns or steps down, you are not 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th in line to take over from him.
You will be stupid to offer Igbo head to be used to break a coconut others will enjoy while you stay sidelined as usual.

3. The protest in the SE will easily be hijacked by questionable characters like Simon Ekpa who is being controlled by external anti Igbo elements within and outside Nigeria. Simon Ekpa and his branch of IPOB are fifth columnists and Trojan horses implanted by enemies of Ndiigbo to destroy our land.
If you stupidly join this protest, Ekpa will make sure destruction and confrontation with Nigerian army happens by unleashing his armed boys to cause mayhem and justify Nigerian army violence on all of us.
Be careful not to start what you don't have control over.

4. SE is not the worst hit by APC failure in governance.
We always knew APC had nothing to offer hence as a progressive race, we have stood as a bastion of stiff opposition to APC since 2015 and have paid the ultimate prize of political exclusion for it while the rest of Nigeria including SS got a fair share of political representation in APC, as they have held both deputy senate and Senate posts so far. APC has made sure they returned our resentment towards them with political exclusion and banishment for us.
We knew APC will fail and are better prepared to endure this reality than the rest of the country who claim to be better at playing politics. There is therefore no need to pretend like we expected better from APC by joining a useless protest.
The whole idea of protest is to register a dissatisfaction because you expected better. This isn't the case with SE, hence the redundancy of a protest in SE. Let those who know how to play politics and expected better from APC do the protest.

5. Sometimes, silence is the best answer or what we call "masterly inactivity". We need to retain tactical silence in Nigeria now, stay off issues, let the "owners of Nigeria " to sort themselves out.
You know the popular axiom of "If you wait long enough by the river banks, you will see your enemies float by".
This should be our plan with Nigeria going forward.

With all these reasons outlined so far, it's now obvious why a protest is not the solution for SE.
Let Tinubu see off his 8years and let Shettima do his too.
Let's work with this mindset. Let's get ourselves prepared to win this economic endurance marathon. We are best prepared to win this torture than the rest than the rest of Nigeria as non of them have had to endure 1/100th of what we endured in Biafra or in post Biafra Nigeria until now.
Don't join them, your reality are not same as theirs.
Cheta na Oke solu Ngwere maa mmili, okoo Ngwere, ogaghi akoo Oke.
Let's put more emphasis on our state governors, if there should at all be any protest, let it be to demand for better utilisation of our share of the national allocation from our governors down to local government chairmen.
Let the Aku luo Uno continue.
Let's find a way to flush those Simon Ekpa terrorists that have besieged our lands in Southern Anambra and Northern Imo out.
Let's return peace to our land, grow our economy. Let's live like FG and Nigeria does not exist.

We can do this Umunnem.

Two crates of Hero beer for you Oga Pazienza.

Nna gị mụrụ gị!!!
They are looking for an excuse to kill Igbos, they already have their military stationed everywhere in South East and ready to shoot at sight.
We have no stake in this government, we protested with our ballot papers!!!

It's very easy to set us up.
All they have to do is to ring up their man Simon Ekpa to instruct his boys to join the SE protest and to shoot at the military and police.
Then when this happens they will have full justification to massacre our innocent youths and burn our houses.
SE must be very careful. We are a people surrounded by external forces and infiltrated by internal collaborators like Ekpa who sold their conscience.
We need to do more sensitisation to make sure that no Igbo commoner is involved in this protest in any form.

The Monday sit at home protests we have been doing for eons now is bad enough. Tinubu must be allowed to finish his Eight year tenure in peace while Shettima does his 8years as well. On no account should Ndiigbo offer our heads to be used to break any coconut in Nigeria anymore.
We should take backseat and watch others do the job if they wish to.

Igbos already conditioned themselves in anticipation of the current economic woes when they campaigned for a new and vibrant breed of politicians to be in charge of the country but were mocked. So things are tough but we are managing. Let's just endure the next 7 years.

But as at today APC is ruling 2 out of 5 states in the SE and you're claiming that the SE is an opposition to the party with most states in the region.
Except there's another meaning to opposition and majority in your dictionary.

APC know how they got those two states.
They know that Igbo commoners are rabidly anti APC!
I'm sure you yourself know this but are only playing to the gallery.
Someone that finished 4th in an election was made the governor in Imo state!
Dave Umahi was a PDP man that used his control of Ebonyi rigging machinery and the good will of the people towards him to install an APC governor.

Lol, you have time for any yeye protest in the East.

During the January and February protest that was held in SW, NW, NE and NC. South East didn't even participate either did they know that there is anything like protest exist.

Let Afonjas and their slave masters in the north continue their protest from where they stop in February. After all, they are the worst hit in this tinubulation Regime.

We cannot continue like this. The debt that the APC is collecting and looting will be paid by our children inclusive so we can't just sit by and watch them do as they like.

If this will break the contraption, so be it.

Have they not be targeting Igbos before? Are we gonna cower to their bully? If Israel had shown weakness in the face of perpetual hatred, they'd have been anahilated.

There's nothing that the eyes would see that would cause it to bleed. We deserve an honourable peace!

Igbo approach to Nigeria now will be nkwucha.

Our approach will be to endure long enough until Nigeria collapse under debt.
It mustn't be in our current generation or the next.
But that should be the goal.
Channel all that energy at getting better governors at home and continuing our Aku luo uno campaign.

Work more on getting all Igbo groups outside SE to be zoned to SE.

Nwanne, that debt will be paid by all parts of Nigeria and we are the most adept at surviving under such conditions having seen hell in Biafra.

We are not cowed, we are just trying a different approach towards disentangling ourselves from the Nigerian web.
Self preservation is a good strategy. We will pay the debt in the future.
Let the rest of the country lead the charge for better Nigeria, let's relax for once and enjoy the scenery.

After you guys have successfully incited the whole nation via your social media insults and rants, you now want to step aside and watch them burn their region. You forgot that your brothers have shops in Southwest. Once riot breaks out during the protest, those shops are usually the first target of louts and thugs.

After inciting for protest, you are trying to protect your region from the destruction that often accompany such. Same way you soared your own leaders and slaughtered leaders of other regions in the 60s. Same people are now telling Peter Obi to flee ahead of the protest. Perhaps, you want to repeat the 60s. You guys are easy to read like an open book because you are always clever by half.

At the moment, Lagos State Government is silent. That silence is very loud to reasonable people. You don't know what they are planning against those who want to hide under the canopy of protest to wreck havoc.
