This Bill if passed, is Far BETTER than Local govt Autonomy and New National anthem. smiley

It means DULLLARDS like Buhari and Overhyped MISFITS like Tinibu WON'T rule for 8 yrs. sad undecided

If passed into law, when will it take effect. That should trouble you more bro. Tinubu will serve his first four years term and seek another four years. If it takes affect right away, Tinubu may be the first beneficiary of the plan.

Are you talking to me?
Well if you are, I suggest you click the link in the post to read further. All they did is substitute "four" for "six" In the original article. They aren't rewriting any other thing.

I don't understand what you're saying. The link says six years SINGLE tenure. The subject says the same thing.

The body says the same thing. I've copied it as follows:

Clause 3 of the bill seeks to amend Section 135 subsections (2), (2A) and (3) of the Principal Act by replacing the word “four” with “six” to read:

“(2) Subject to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the President shall vacate his office at the expiration of a period of six (6) years single tenure commencing from the date...

So, where did you get your wrong impression from? You needed to have read further beyond their simplistic "replacing the word "four" with "six".

If you must make public comments, you must learn to read and understand the issue at stake before making comments

I support this bill. You can't compare six years suffering to eight years suffering
So you are used to be suffering
