The Police Command In Borno has arrested a 24 year old suspect, Mr Usakahyel Adamu, in Kwaya-Kusar Local Government Area for allegedly killing his 90 year old grandfather.

The command’s spokesman, ASP Nahum Daso, said the suspect used a hoe to hit his grandfather after an altercation on the head leading to the old man’s death on the spot.

Daso said the suspect would be charged to court on completion of investigation.

The suspect (Adamu), who spoke to newsmen said he had epilepsy in his room and that after recovering in his room, he asked his grandfather who visited his room what happened but the old man refused to answer him.

“He was just insulting me, and when I tried to get out of the room he pushed me back.

“I then picked a hoe and hit him on his back and head. I was not in my senses when I did that, I am really sorry,” Adamu apologised.

The police spokesman also announced the arrest of a 40 year old woman, Lydia Aji, for striking her husband with an axe during a fight leading to his death at Kautikari village of Chibok LGA.

“Lydia Aji struck her husband on his head with an axe and he died instantly.

“Investigation further revealed that the couples had a misunderstanding over their daughter, one Rachael Aji 13, who stole a goat and sold it to an unknown person, the angry father then asked them to leave his house.

“The case is still under investigation,” Daso said.

He also
announced the arrest of three suspects in possession of Indian hemp and hard drugs, and a syndicate of five suspected vandals of public infrastructure with exhibits of vandalised solar street lights and borehole components.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, three other suspects were also paraded for criminal intimidation after threatening a man to pay them N2 million or risk death.

FRAUD IN THE BANK !!!!!

Guys.please be very careful of the fraud going on in the bank by bank officers and the Security officers.

After collecting your NEW ATM Card ( without envelopes), one of the security guys outside will stand behind you, as if he wants to assist you in picking your PIN no (especially our illiterates parents need to be very careful). The security officer will peep and know your Pin No, and the bank officer would have written down your ATM CARD NO.

The following day they will start using your card for online transactions, deduct as much as they want. The worse is that you will not receive alert nor email.

If you report, the attitude of bank manager will tell you that it's very likely that he is part of the fraud.

No matter how urgent you need the money ( even if the money is life and death), they will ask you to wait for one good month.

EFCC should please investigate and deal with the fraud, especially for the sake of our illiterate parents

I talked about the menace of poor upbringing in male children. And the need to see is as a state of emergency . People were saying, "daughters also do this..."

If we put just one-quarter of attention we give to female upbringing to make upbringing, society will experience more peace.

Y'all defended their vices against women, with phrases like "she was running her mouth", "her desire for flashy things ended her life".

Now they have started turning on males. The recent trend is drugging uber drivers and carting away with their vehicles. Cutting off the joysticks of young men for ritual.

Even with the aforementioned, you refuse to accept the destructive nature of men and rather deflect by making it a thing of tribe, not men.

Society will learn the hard way

What an atrocity! Just as he couldn't let his granddad go from this world at the appointed time with his Maker, the urchin shall never live to the age of the poor old man.
