Good evening Nairalanders,
I have a job interview tomorrow for a customer service representative position. This is my first job and I have never had an interview before. Can anyone tell me how interviews usually go and what kind of questions they might ask?
I am feeling a bit nervous and would really appreciate any tips or advice you can offer.
Thanks!

Go on youtube an search for answers to interview questions like:

Tell me about yourself? etc.

Make sure you prepare, I would suggest you keep late night for it. Memorize the patterns, make it your own and deliver!

Here are some likely questions for a customer service intern:

1. What does excellent customer service mean to you?
2. How would you handle a difficult or angry customer?
3. Can you tell me about a time when you had to resolve a customer complaint?
4. How would you define our company's values and mission?
5. How would you prioritize tasks in a fast-paced customer service environment?
6. Can you walk me through a time when you had to troubleshoot a problem or answer a technical question?
7. How do you stay patient and composed under pressure?
8. Can you describe a situation where you went above and beyond for a customer?
9. How do you handle confidentiality and sensitive customer information?
10. Can you tell me about a product or service you're familiar with and how you'd explain it to a customer?
11. How do you handle a high volume of customer inquiries and requests?
12. Can you describe your experience with customer service software and tools?
13. How do you stay organized and manage your time effectively in a customer service role?
14. Can you tell me about a time when you received feedback or a complaint and how you used it to improve?
15. How do you demonstrate empathy and understanding in customer interactions?

These questions aim to assess your customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
