Pray to God to be self-sufficient and you'd not bother yourself with all these stories. You can employ a good maid. A lot of them cook much more than many wives do. Don't jettison your extended family( siblings) cos they will always be there, no matter what. They're the first people in your life before the wife came remember. If madam like, let her pack and stay with her children.

This is one of the reasons I always encourage our youths to try and be enjoying vacation abroad amd attend conferences. You will never get tired or feel bored when madam don go meet her pikin abroad or anywhere. This is inevitable, na so nature make am. So that you'd have a robust travel experience and you can visit usa, Canada etc for summer, see friends etc. By the time you're back home, you'd feel like traveling again. You can branch and see your children and their mama join. That's a good life. You can build one for yourself. Don't procrastinate saying future, future, future. The future starts when you hit 25 years, after which your years will start running per minutes. Because at that time, your eyes are open, you begin thinking of career, family etc so you'd not know when the time is gone.

When some guys hit their first money, they'd go and buy cars instead of building a future. I had money to buy 2 cars at the time I first travelled to the USA early 2000 for the first time. Flight Ticket was 375k. If I added 900k to that, I'd buy a brand new Kia Rio. It was my first visa on a virgin passport and travel experience. Today, no need to stress myself on visa to the glory of God. My passports are piled up. I pray till I grow old I'd still be enjoying this privilege. They now give 5 years while Canada can samma you woth 10 years visa if you have up to 10 years validity passport. Life is so sweet if you make it so. It's always challenging too. Planning is key....very key and your old age won't be a mess.

Thank you and i wish you more success.

But the issue here now is that a lot of youths doesn't have the privileges you enjoyed then anymore which you are aware yourself. It's very sad.

I don't know why most Nigerian men are so negative minded.

This small thing dey pain so many men here!

Nawaoo!
The thing is that an average 9ja man is struggling and that struggle is something that warps any mindset, so that thing messes most up, they get to fight and demand for virtually everything love, peace of mind, happiness etc.

How did he bring problems. African has a long way to go. But first I think this dude needs to be in the rehabilitation center
You too need to be rehabilitated. So one man's comment now turn to full continental problem? I don't even believe U need rehab it's better U are taken to one wicked celestial church for that koboko flogging deliverance to reset ur head

At the bolded i agree, and if you definitely want to go that route. You will need at least half of his country's population admitted to rehabilitation centres.

It's very funny how most of you black people think and very good at non-challanly and hypocrisy.

I've never been to the airport before, let alone traveling by flight. I feel like I'm a failure at this age. So sad.

The hardships of this life drives me really crazy at times. I work like an elephant, I get injured at building sites, I teach In private schools and yet, I eat crumbs like an ant. God when?
Nobody was born at the airport.
Nobody knows tomorrow.

My sister had never travelled b4 the age of 27 b4.

Now she is an American Citizen

So today no mean say tomorrow no go change

Unless you were born with a gold spoon in your mouth, everyone had to start from somewhere. You are starting with working at building sites.. it will not be forever.

Don't stress yourself.

If you wanna go to the airport, just go to any airport near you, go inside and look around no one will stop you.

That is it. Yet people will pretend not to notice and keep shifting the goal post. Nigeria is not a all round healthy society.

Amen, thanks.
If I tell you that you can even enjoy more now you'd not believe me. We had an uncle ( a renowned politician and former governor of lagos) who was not a corrupt man. He died driving a single car. Many of you may have heard of him. He was the real foundation his successors built lagos on. Everybody was on their own, he'd not touch lagos money and wouldn't allow anyone to do same so, everyone turned hustler, including his children who are also OK today.

I didn't see anyone who would help me or give me a job. I always went to vendors booth to read Tuesday punch, Tuesdays and Thursdays guardian newspaper editions, inside which I'd find job adverts, relevant to my field. I'd go with a pen and a paper, jot down these positions and apply. Thank God for the advent of the Internet then, those with email address would save me postage stamp money. I'd book night browsing in a cafe, send my resume via emails. During this time, a lot of my peers would book a night too, but would be watching porn and chatting on friend finder.com, yahoo messenger and MSN messenger and be looking for friends.

That's how I got my first job and it became a habit. I later got a link and travelled to America. I was already working. Remember I knew nobody except God. I got jobs in all the good places where I had worked via guardian newspaper but today, it's a different story. All you need it build your resume on linkedin or visit job sites right inside your home using your phone and apply. We were trekking a distance to post office to post applications back then. I remember all those UI boys back then, we always met at a vendor's booth. One of them later won OGD scholarship. He's from ogun state. His name is Olumide Ogunbanjo a renowned agric enginner, check him out. His Msc and Phd were free in UK and Holland. The UK university there funded his phd in an EU university. He knew nobody. He got the information from inside punch newspapers where it was advertised. The other guy is a director in a leading oil and gas company now.

Today many youths are lazy. They don't want to work. I may look like someone who doesn't have a job each time I comment here but trust me, God is kind to me. I won't say more than that. I love reading. I read a lot and I come here to contribute, respond to comments etc, to while away time. I can't be working from morning till evening without taking a break, I'd break down God forbid. I spend my beeaktime here. I don't go to work everyday. The only language I understand is figures lol. Like today, I didn't go to work. My staff are there to carry on. I check my crypto wallet, check my fx trading details daily. My fx trading account manager called me a few minutes ago to inform me of the deal of the day. That's how I live my life.

In summary, most youths depend on government or someone to help them and they are often disappointed. Your parents can't even help, to say the least. They have tried their best by sending you to school. I wish I had the kind of exposure youths have today in my time but I still thank God I'm not lagging behind.
