Tinubu is acting like Horney Berger. If he's not in a fight? He's on his way to a fight.

Edo has what's called Iyeki (Mother of Market) they only quit at death. Major markets in Benin has a deity, to be the mother of market is not a common feat, one must be spiritual this is why Edo market get as he be.
@Osanoghodua1

Thank you for this information about the Iyeki market leadership custom. It's very CLEAR that the woman market leader in the video was just being paranoid and was making a highly defamatory allegation against Folasade Tinubu who has absolutely NO business with Benin or Edo markets leadership, (except she is invited as a guest to an inauguration ceremony and business networking purposes).

There's also absolutely NO way a female market leader will come into existence WITHOUT the knowledge of the Oba of Benin. This is the custom in the Edo areas. It's shameful that bigots, propagandists and trolls have seized on this to cast aspersions on Folasade Tinubu here on this thread without understanding things from the perspectives you have shared.

Thanks for the insights in your post, and enjoy your day.

Tinubu family should maintain their boundaries. They don't own Nigeria. Their father should call them into order.

Yes.

The lady in the report is the Iyeki of Edo State. There are also Iyekis at the Local Government level and at the level of individual markets.

It's just their politics at a higher level making the Iyeki feel threatened.

What is more important at this time is curtailing the excesses of various unions in Edo State. But the State government seems to be docile due to politics. Same goes to the NURTW which has many of the commercial drivers going on a rampage of lawlessness in the State, leaving EDSTMA helpless about such situation.
Traffic laws are fast becoming applicable to only private residents of Edo State.

Stop galavanting all over the place.
There's an iota of truth in what that woman is saying.
Their plans won't work in Edo state.

This is clearly a FALSE and highly defamatory allegation being made in the video based on paranoia. Why drag Folasade Tinubu who is the Iya Oloja General of Lagos State into this?

There's NO way that a female market leader can come into existence WITHOUT the knowledge of the Oba of Benin.
Just like it's done all over Yorubaland, if you are conversant with history, there's usually an Oba's Market close to the palace of every Oba (king) called Oja Oba in Yoruba because from centuries back, commerce and long-distance trading with the Asanti Empire, Mali Empire, Hausaland via the Nupe country, Benin kingdom, etc, and has always been the economic mainstay of the powerful Oyo Empire and other Yoruba kingdoms. This is how Oyo Empire was able to afford to import expensive horses from the North via the Nupe country for the Oyo cavalry which made Oyo Empire to be powerful militarily. Horses had to be constantly replenished because of tsetse fly prevalence centuries back as well.

In Benin City, there is an Oba's Market as well close to the palace because commerce has always been a part of the Benin kingdom (and the Benin Empire), therefore, there is NO way that an outsider in the name of Folasade Tinubu can come and impose someone on Edo Market women. The Oba of Benin usually endorses a new female market leader because NOTHING is done without the knowledge of the palace, so, the allegation from the Edo woman in the video that Folasade Tinubu wants to impose another Edo woman on them is CLEARLY false and Folasade Tinubu should take legal action against this woman for defamation.

hasthe folashade now come out to deny it

Or you think the women like attention when they have never sought it before

there is no end in sight to the tinubu family greed, we have seen how mc oluomo also was going for president general of nigeria nurtw to establish himself as agbero general

Did they ever tell you they needed one? And haven't they been achieving their goals all these years? Why can't you people mind your own business, and stop interfering in places where you have NO business, and nobody needs you?

Traders in Edo markets, know how to organise and coordinate themselves.

Tell Folashade Tinubu-Ojo to leave them alone, and to stop being greedy.

She is Iyaloja of Lagos NOT Iyaloja of Edo or Iyaloja of Nigeria.

What kind of nönsēnse is all this, séf?
