The judgements don't nullify each other. The aggrieved party has to approach the Court of Appeal to determine who has jurisdiction over the matter since there are 2 courts of separate jurisdictions who have ruled over the matter.

After the Appeal Court's decision, the aggrieved party can further proceed to the Supreme Court.

Status quo remains which means, since the congress has not already been held, all parties have to wait for the court of Appeal to determine whether it should hold or not.

The difference in plateau was the fact the defendants made no effort to vacate the order but rather went ahead with the congress which elected the ward level leadership which ultimately led to the legislative primaries.
