Nationwide Protest: Give Tinubu More Time - APC Chieftain Urges Protesters

Ahead of the nationwide protest slated for August 1st, 2024, a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress and United Nations-trained Negotiator, Comrade Edwin Uhara has appealed to the organisers of the protest to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu more time to turn things around.

In a statement released to newsmen in Enugu on Sunday, the party stalwart said the current food crisis in the country has some spiritual undertones; noting that 2024 is the year of the Dragon and a leap year also which requires patience to overcome the challenges.

The year of the dragon is also the year of good fortunes but some requirements must be met before the divine wealth of the year is released.

Similarly, it has been observed from history that every leap year is usually a tough year for the human race but humanity have always emerged stronger.

Therefore, what we need at the moment is not protest but to show kindness and compassion to one another knowing full well that this trying moment will soon be a thing of the past and we will return to our normal lives.

Signed:

Comrade Edwin Uhara,
APC Chieftain and Public Affairs Commentator

Tinubu needs time to implement his vision.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will our great nation be transformed overnight.

Those protesting should channel their energy into constructive dialogue rather than disruption.

The progress we seek requires patience and support for our leaders.

Let's rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he steers the ship of state towards prosperity.

Okay, we will give him more time. Maybe, he'll be able to do the right thing when we're all dead.

Not only the year of the dragon, it's the year of the dinosaur.

Tinubu is just getting started, and the results will soon speak for themselves.

APC Chieftain is right; patience is key in governance.

The man has a vision, and Rome wasn't built in a day. Let's support him and give him the time to implement his plans for a better Nigeria.

Progress takes time, but the end will justify the means!

Did Tinubu and his allies give Goodluck Jonathan more time when they sponsored, funded and organized protests and civil disobedience against the Goodluck Jonathan government even going as far as threatening to form a parallel government

First, I'm not from Igbo. Your bigotry and myopic attitude will make you meet that waterloo soon.

I never cared about the elections as i didn't get myself involved in it.

I only care about the protest that will sweep away this evil government like a hurricane.

If you serious reveal your face and drop location.

More time for what?

Your policies are creating more hardship and despite appeals to reconsider, you arrogantly persist.

You tell the masses to endure, but you ensure you get all your frivolities and desires met without delay. You spend our commonwealth recklessly and rub it in our faces, but tell us to continue to suffer without end in sight.

You ask for unity, but sponsor disunity and spread hate through your social media 1diots. Anyone who criticises you is attacked using ethnic racism.

You tell masses to tighten thier belts, but you have the largest and most unproductive cabinet in the history of Nigeria. Your political appointments are mostly to unproductive political jobbers who have no business being in government other than to sing your praise and loot for themselves and on your behalf.

You ask for more time, but you supported the most disastrous government in bubu even when sane Nigerians were pointing out the danger, you insulted them and promised to continue from that rot. So what more time are you asking for?

Make no mistake about it,

As a Nigerian, you have to fight or die… protest is only a start.

The folks at the corridor of power will rather die than release the fangs on the common wealth
