A cleaner in America makes at least $5/hr. If he works 8hrs, that's $40= ±₦40000/day.

He may/may not have access to foodstamps.
He's not looking right and left because of bandits and boko haram.

Stop doing this thing.

America is also an industrial nation with a wide tax base. Nigeria is a resource dependent nation that does not set the price of its resources, and has its price of resources set by mighty western nations...and as a result has a weak revenue base, that we surviive on loans...then the corrupt elite steal from the litte we have, and thus we cannot pay a cleaner much.

Also, the American cleaner does not live in the lap of luxury. Taxes, high cost of living, etc, contrive to take away the 5 dollars per hour.

NIgeria has to change from being a resource dependent nation sha.

But you don't want to see it, because you believe we have a pot of never ending money somehwere, and they are hiding it from you. cheesy

Get thee to a nunnery: why wouldst thou be a
breeder of sinners? I am myself indifferent honest;
but yet I could accuse me of such things that it
were better my mother had not borne me: I am very
proud, revengeful, ambitious, with more offences at
my beck than I have thoughts to put them in,
imagination to give them shape, or time to act them
in. What should such fellows as I do crawling
between earth and heaven? We are arrant knaves,
all; believe none of us. Go thy ways to a nunnery.
Where's your father?

What are the 8 ways to handle an angry customer?

Stay calm. When an angry customer takes their frustrations out on you, it's perfectly natural to take it personally. ...
Be an active listener. They're angry, and they want to be heard. ...
Personalize the interaction. ...
Acknowledge your customer's emotions. ...
Use positive language. ...
Restate what they told you. ...
Build trust. ...
Thank them.

But sometimes you need people to feel the incompetence, so there will be no protests when you eventually swing in with the wrecking ball.

Here is the issue

It costs N1300 to bring petrol into the country, yet the Tinubu government insists on making it sell for N700 and less at the filling stations.

And you people expect there to be NO SCARCITY?

If we had removed oil subsidy in 1993, or even 2011...the last best time to have done it...none of this contraindications would have happened.

Over 700 million monthly goes on this abomination , and our debt is rising again. Haba.

Which subsidy again?

Look at it this way, if you bought something for 1300, would you sell it at 500 or even 65 naira?

Alternatively,If I am well paid,I will certainly afford it. That is where good salaries comes in.

In summary, our minimum wage is the worst in the world.

If your government was running an economy that does not earn enough, where is the money to pay decent salaries going to come from

That is why instead of choosing apc or pdp, choose a government that would make us like the big nations, by being an exporter of manufactured goods and services and having a much better and decent tax to gdp ratio

This is the only country in the world that is viciously mismanaged. Nigeria is richer than America but bad leaders wouldn't allow it to flourish.

And one of them is in power.

This is the only country in the world that is viciously mismanaged. Nigeria is richer than America but bad leaders wouldn't allow it to flourish.

Basic problem was that at independence, we had two choices

1. Follow what SOuth Korea, Japan and eventually china did...though that meant harship for some time. A lotta hardship

2.Follow mass welfare projects , subsidised everything.

We chose no 2...because all the African indepenendence leaders promised one thing...everyone would get more money since we was no longer sending the money oversease.

Result...we ended up in a debt trap because our population far outgrew the ability of the resources to feed it. Then we sell resources to foreign countries, who use it to make industrial products, which they sell to us at a profit, and take back the forex they gave us for the resources.

No Nigerian or African leader, including the supposed good ones like GHaddafi and the bad ones like Mobutu saw nothing wrong with it. Even the whites of SOuth Africa did the same thing...only they shared more money to their white people, and gave black people minimal money. Of course ANC promised SA people that they would get more money...

That is why we are underdeveloped

Look, I know and you know we have a serious issue with corruption. No argument from me there. But our budget for this year before looting is around 30 trillion naira. 30 trilluion naira. Assuming we shared the money among 250 million of us...it would only give 120000 for each person for the year

120000 per person per year?

Shey you can live on 120000 yearly?

Same thing for many African countries except those like Libya and botswana that have a tiny population but make a lot of money, and even then they are a disadvantage

Strong countries make and export their stuff. That is why China can tell the west to go to ell. And that is why we have to take loans and loans, and the painful thing is that some bagger will come and steal billions and tell us to shut up when we complain.

The etymology of the world shut up...

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, an early documented use, in 16th-century England, was a figurative one, meaning "to withhold one's money or kindness from a person." In 1840, the New Orleans Picayune printed the first known slang/imperative use of "shut up," when a reporter referred to an officer's demand

The etymology of the word please

Middle English: from Old French plaisir ‘to please’, from Latin placere .

The etymology of the word you

Old English ēow, accusative and dative of gē (see ye1), of West Germanic origin; related to Dutch u and German euch . During the 14th century you began to replace ye1, thou1, and thee; by the 17th century it had become the ordinary second person pronoun for any number and case.

The Etymology of the word will

Old English wyllan, of Germanic origin; related to Dutch willen, German wollen, from an Indo-European root shared by Latin velle ‘will, wish’.
