You are not getting the point here, first Igbos and Yoruba have been living together peacefully in Lag particularly since end of civil war. There are many Igbos in lagos civil service even till date.
so what changed?
Igbos started laying claims that they own Lagos. In many ways ,they crossed the boundary. What Late Ahmadu Bello said about the Igbos were beginning to play out.

The Oba that was killed will never cross his boundary in the US, same as other Yoruba Obas in Nigerian states.

Can you provide proof where Igbos came together to declare Lagos as theirs, drag it with the Yorubas or kill Yorubss for it just like the way Fulanis do? Can you?

Or you are indirectly telling me you guys lack the balls to face the real people dragging your land with you? Even till the point of sending your Grandpa to Benin republic.

Most Yorubas are really annoyingly funny people though. So they can have Obas in the US and UK but frown at anything realted to Eze Ndi Igbo in Lagos a once capital of Nigeria and a cosmopolitan city.

It's this same people (majority) that would still scream racism at the top of their voices but back home they are pro-tribalist which is no different from Racism.

Mehn! The double standard in Nigeria is as clear as the waters of the Maldives.
True talk, my Gee! You have laid it bare on the floor for anyone who has sight to see.
That's who they are; it's what they do. They call it, 'do as I say, not as I do'.
Sheer hypocritical bigoted tribalists that they are.

Wao mental illness probably..mental illnesses either natural or exacerbated by hard drugs is one of the biggest problems in America today akin to the way hunger pose a big problem in Nigeria. Mental illness is the reason people open fire on innocent people in malls or schools or anywhere that catch their fancy. Mental illness is the reason you see people sleeping on the streets in a country where income based housings or section 8 are and popping up regularly courtesy of government in almost every county in the country, a country where you qualify for automatic food stamps if you are poor, looks like atm card but they can load more than $1k for you there monthly if you have children, a country where almost every black church have a food bank that is free filled will cans of sardines, bags of rice, noodles, eggs etc a country an 18 year old can drive a 2025 Mercedes once they have good credit history, small down payment and financial ability to do car payments for 5-6 years, a country where if you drive through every major road from gas stations to grocery stores all you see are signs everywhere “we are hiring “ - most times its $12- 15 for 8 hours minimum, minimum wage but it qualifies you for more free benefits than the middle class, a country that pays you back the money you paid in taxes as tax returns, a country with the best educational institutions, hospitals etc in the world but these mental illnesses issues is very high and government have done everything humanly possible to solve it to no avail. A lot of them whose theirs was caused by drugs have government spending billions on drug rehabilitation program and they pay those people with mental issues monthly not to work but to stay calm , avoid harming people , watch tv and that’s how the country has been able to keep it under control except for the case of this lady who obviously was in self denial about her mental state till this happened. Normal people do not stab their brother during arguments. She is probably spending the rest of her life in prison or even death penalty which I think is still legal in South Carolina and US is not like Nigeria where you plead insanity and they take you to asylum, no they make you face the full wrath of the law

You can only shut your trap if you are not ready for a meaningful conversation. The truth is no one in Yorubaland gives a damn about your opinion until you show true maturity and willingness to move forward. If Yorubas are against your people, several generations of your people wouldn't have thrived successfully among them. Yorubas have no problem with you, you are the ones to review your relationship with the Yorubas with full honesty, something that seems alien to some of you. You can't expect Yorubas to abandon their Yoruba roots in the name of civilization while you cling firmly to yours and your homeland.

I expected you to shift the goal post, usual traits of you guys. Attack the Fulanis that are killing your guys on a steady.

Give them notice to leave your land like the way you do to Igbos but you can't because you all don't want to anger your Fulani masters. That reminds me you couldn't even reclaim Kwara and she is currently over compromised.

But you will suddenly have the strength once it has to do with Igbos because you know they are business people and wouldn't want to joke with their business.

Accept the truth, you all are just jealous because the Igbo man is doing as better as you guys and even richer than most years after arriving Lagos broke.

My grandfather died a long time ago of old age peacefully in his village. Unlike your grand father that was sent to a meatgrinder by ojukwu.

Listen, I do not need to prove anything to you, its a matter of time everyone will find his bearing.

This person can lie sha. America's image maker. Why are there beggars that dress dirty in America if there are these benefits? They're also on drugs? Why do people get arrested for tax eviction? Why are there strippers where stripping doesn't even make them millionaires? They just strip for fun or they're on drugs too? Why did Young Jeezy say in "Crazy World" that he had to pay for light bills, phone bills and his granny's health pills and that why shouldn't he trap(sell dope)?
Philly rapper ,Ar-ab(top goon) also said where he lived, they used to fetch water from the well and spoke about different hardships. 6'9"'s mum was so poor that she couldn't afford new cloth for her children but used to buy used clothes for them and you lied that mother's have those benefits? Don't forget that these rappers were born there and different from you. They know what's happening in their country. If you listen to rap,you would know much about that country. STOP LYING TO US

Which begs the question: WHY??
Why is drug abuse and mental illness off the charts in that country?

Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi of Oyotunji was a delight to watch in the hit Netflix documentary called Beyond Africa on the Yoruba Diaspora spread through the infamous trans-Atlantic slave trade and he spoke about how Oyotunji community members in South Carolina led by his own biological father who were ALSO members of the African-American iconic "Black Panther Movement" in the United States were FIRED up in the fight against racial segregation in the U.S. Professor Wole Soyinka and other iconic Yoruba leaders were featured in that Netflix documentary.
