Protest: Accusations Against Peter Obi, Atiku Shows The Poverty Of Ideas Of Tinubu’s Men – Ologbondiyan

Immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan on Wednesday says the accusation by some of President Bola Tinubu that the opposition are the brains behind the planned #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest shows poverty of ideas.

Speaking in a chat with TheScrutiny, Ologbondiyan said the statement from some of the aides of the president accusing Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections and former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar of sponsoring the protests ‘is a lazy way of thinking’.

The veteran journalist who said President Tinubu must personally address Nigerians to douse the tension also warned against counter-protest as it may lead to violence.

“Honestly, It smacks of poverty of ideas. It also shows clearly that those who are surrounding the president are not providing him the right advice. If that is what they are bringing to public space, it then shows what they are telling the president in private. We have a very bad situation on our hands. That is the fact, whether those in government wants to admit it or not”.

“Is it Peter Obi that said Nigerians should be hungry? Is it Atiku that removed fuel subsidy and increased fuel price from N187 to over N600? Is it Obi that said the purchasing power of Nigerians should be ridiculously low to the extent that people cannot even eat once a day?”

“ Is it Atiku or Obi that is responsible for the insecurity in the country where farmers can no longer go to their farms? It is just a lazy way of thinking and it just shows the poverty of ideas of those who are around the president. They don’t know the reality of what is happening in the country. if this is all they can come up with, then it is very embarrassing:”.

The official statement from the government are world class and professionally done.

The minister of information Muhammed Idris is a professional at his Job. Ajuri Ngelale too has matured to a great spokesperson to the president. Class and excellence all together.
Their feedbacks regarding the government position on the protest are beautifully and professionally done.

But the others that disparage the image of Obi are only recruited to de-popularize Obi against 2027 which is funny and annoying at the same time. They have gone too far to make it appear that the Igbos are the reason for all the sufferings in the nation which is funny and wicked all together.

Accusing Peter Obi of sponsoring protest is a guess work gone wrong by the lazy minds.they are not aware they have a lot of work to do after the numerous damage caused the economy .

Yes, as the Ologbodiyan clearly said, Tinubu and his men are bereft of common sense. They plunged the country into avoidable economic crisis. Tinubu's mess will take 20 years to clear if Nigeria can have an honest leader like Obi, otherwise, we will be in a path of destruction.

Clearly, Tinubu and his men have nothing to offer Nigerians.
